If I were ever given a chance to enter a password, it might be. I'm able to play all the multiplayer games I want, but I can't seem to do it as who I want.

A friend recently bought me Rebellion on Steam. Unfortunately, it seems that I can't use my accustomed name/account; it logs me on automatically and tells me that the name I want is already in use (presumably by me) when I try to change it. Is there a way to be sure I'm logging in with my ICO account that works so well in non-Steam Trinity? :)
Make sure you build a capital ship early; your first is free. The funds you spent on planet development might better have been spent on expansion.
"Passed" is an entirely different sort of thing than "Understood," "Aced," etc.
Multiple Frigate Factories do indeed work; however, the progress bar will only show the one closest to completion if you are building several ships of the same type.

What I don't get is why people try to get the Domina to be a healer as though that were its intended role.
Surely we should call it Thread Resurrection in honor of the Advent. :)
Hope non-trinity/diplomacy users also receive the fix. :)
Just to chime in, we experienced increasing lag yesterday (locations: Utah and Ohio, USA) eventually resulting in not even being able to load the game (all of us would keep getting booted while trying to connect). Another game, though, was working perfectly; we've come to the conclusion it's server-side somewhere.
Congratulations on your first win. :)
Have the Advent Superweapon convert enemy media structures into yours. :)
Oh. Well, isn't a Vasari player in the Late Game better served by Kostura spam anyway? :)
Sure, but Lassuraks are Tier 3, each one is chunkily expensive in fleet supply and resources, and a Skirantra hanging back with them isn't using its repair cloud on other ships. I'm not the brightest tool in the shed -- is it impossible to kill Vasari Lassuraks?
Persistent Aura that grants an extra Bomber squadrons to nearby Lassuraks?
Now, if Insurrection started directly and massively lowering opponent's income rather than spawning a few piddly ships . . . :)

I would append that while factions should not have huge advantages in a given stage, I find nothing wrong with moderate advantages in given stage.
First: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/374670 Second: What version of the game are you playing? If it's diplomacy, Pirates are a lot nastier than otherwise.
What specifically is out of date? What will not apply to somebody playing expansionless single player for the first time? What particularly will hinder those trying to figure out basic game concepts?
Remember with the Akkan it takes a little bit for the Free Resource Extractors to show up. :)
Er . . . Colonize. Where is Colonize? You're not going to get very far without colonizing planets. :)
As for diplomacy, you'll have to ask somebody who owns it. Entrenchment's big differences are, as the name implies, defenses. Each faction can build a starbase and lay mines. The parts that will probably be most useful are the economic parts -- you won't get anywhere in the game if you aren't colonizing planets effectively and efficiently.
As I understand it, that feature is only available in Entrenchment, and thus is outside the scope of the guide.
Not to toot my own horn, but: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/374670 should get you started on single player. For multi player, you'll need advice from somebody who actually knows what they're doing. :)
