Imagine giving the Cylons the Colony as a Titan, epic much?

found it, thanks GoaFan. dunno why I did not think of that in first place..........oh I know, I expected it to be downloadable from the site or there being something obvious as to where it is.
there's a new galaxy forge? where? only one I can find is in the downloads section and is years out of date.
Kinetic Energy Weapon? like a gun? Ya the Tec from TOS does not really fit with the re-imagined series, plus I always felt the original battlestars and basestars are not very pretty.
glad to be of service :p. course there's an old mod (maelstrom i think) that has a model of TOS battlestar, thou they miss labeled it as a Mercury. P.S whats KEW anyway on their damage/weapons?
wow, is that just from my slightly ignorant question or where you going to do such a thing with the Battlestars anyway? looks great anyway.
I like watching the ships shoot the ever loving crap outta each other, I don't think I have ever actually seen the AI build a superweapon, but then i don't remember putting them harder than the hard or sometimes vicious difficulty.
I thought it was called a Pegasus class in this mod. besides isn't Galactica class fannon? I'm sure TOS identify s it as a Columbia class.
I completely forgot I had this mod, was trying to get some of the more annoying achivements, like those civ only tec research ones. gotta see the Cetus Battlestar tonight. this may be a odd question but why dose everyone call it a Galactica class Battlestar? i thought it was a Columbia class.
since when was playing against AI ever hard? superweapons? pah! death to the infidels! The only game I played where AI gives me a hard time is Warcraft 3 (cause i tend to just play custom/use map settings games) and Starcraft Brood war after they updated the AI.
The Jupiter has a skin, haven't used the Cetus one yet but i assume it has one.
1) By clicking on empty space (probably only when zoomed out to planet veiw) will bring up your ranking compaired to other players. 2) other than the post game stats you can't tell how other players are doing compared to you. 3) there seems to be some permanent tecs that don't require you to have the labs once researched. I think the volcanic and ice planet ones don't require you to have 2 c
ok that is really odd. I'll have a look see on mine to see if there is the same problem. edit. i don't have the same thing happen to me. are you sure your loading the right saved file. if it keeps up your best bet would be to re-download the game. or bug some devs.
This has not happened to me. evidence in form of screen shot might be useful.
Have you checked your firewall settings? There have been times when I can join a game but not host depending on what network I'm on and their firewall settings or the firewall on my own comp not allowing it.
Ironically I have never MD out of games. I only get MD when I miss apply a Mod or try and use a mod for the wrong version.
I only quit if there are problems with my connection/comp. Not having played many games online I have not had the displeasure of people that I'm allied to leaving. The other team has, personally I refuse to leave unless I have nothing left. to me the Surrender button doesn't exist. That said I have seen people on other games that are on my side who leave, or are complete and utter trolls.
Fortunately I have never been accused of being an idiot. When trying to multiplayer with the same CD key I read the agreement and any related things to see if its allowed, no point in getting in trouble or the key banned. It didn't work anyway kept on asking to register it, which is impossible on a comp with no internet access.
I'm not a pro but I start by scouting for any nearby asteroid planets, you can take them with just a colony ship and a well placed turret. don't increase fleet capacity until your sure you need it against the enemy. try not to expand farther than you can defend and for the love of god try not to get into a war on more than one front. pirates are useful, take the opportunity to pay them off to attack the AI. course I normally only play against AI on single player, multiplayer
[quote who="ZombiesRus5" reply="906" id="3186005"] It's an issue with the number of hard points and how missile animation works with sins. I need to reduce the number of hard points on some models and tweak the stagger between fires to get them looking good and not be a performance drain. Here's a temp work around that doubles all damage and weapon cooldowns which should slow down the amount of missiles some. I can always increase this again if needed until a more per
well that is new. wouldn't bother me if it wasn't fixed as i tend to kill off the pirates at the 2-3 hour mark. though i guess some people would find it annoying.
I ignore the pirate missions thing and just pay them enough to go after the AI. either that or I take a fleet and clear out their base, blowing up then taking over their asteroid gives a great bonus on trade income.
snoopy if you want to try out fleets and stuff try playing online with someone who doesn't mind doing the same.
That was fun :). colonials and cylons 1 loyal rebellion races 0. was a little worried at first, taking ships without shields against the normal races....till I noticed the hull and armor increases. the Cylons seem to have a lot of missile launchers a bit too many, they fired a lot less in the series.
I have a stupid question, why does the AI run away all the time? in almost every game I played VS AI it runs away even when it has a fair sized fleet, a SB and a load of mine/turrets. True my fleet is normally about 75%-100% bigger but still, if it happened to me I'd just keep what assets I had in system and bring in more from elsewhere..... but then it is rather stupid even for AI standards.
