The AI only cheat on difficulty more than Hard (I think). something about them getting more resources than the player.

right thanks, thought of the USB method will try that. I did read that it could support 2 people using the same game so I thought it would be alright to let him have it on his comp, its not like he's going online with it.

I'm trying to play LAN games with a friend who's comp does not have the internet. is there anyway to patch the one installed on his computer without having to go on the internet? We're both using my copy of Sins Trinity edition and want to play with the mods as Vanilla Sins gets boring after a bit. The mods we want to play are only for latest version of diplomacy, so is there a way to patch his up?

Just played a 2v1v1 match on this...took about three and a half hours for 2 colonials to kill 1 alliance and 1 imperial. (when playing mods for first time I like to have backup). once i had a big enough fleet i just walked right over the Imperial then the Alliance...but then i was fielding 5 or 6 times their number frequently, although that might be due to them fighting each other. the skill to claim/rescue ships does not work and some of the ships seem a bit too small. actually i found that last night after an hour of tinkering. im on win 7 32 bit windows. mines the Trinity version of sins so that might be it or something was missing from the prog when i downloaded it, dosnt seem to have sinreg.txt file so gonna DL from both sources and try again. nope still not working, i know where to find the registry files for the sins i have installed 'Trinity' but not how to make the prog look there or dose it not recognise my version.

Ive been trying to get this to work and get this just a reminder if you are getting an error stating that sins version found ::: need version 1.1.9 then you NEED the registry keys that point to the sins install folder for 32bit windows HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sins im on Win7 so where exactly am i supposed to be looking and how can i tell the programe it.
