The AI builds sb with aux gov so and nova wont cuz them to lose the world and with the AI econ cheats the econ debuff from the Nova doesnt rly affect them much

the ai can also hire the pirates for missions and such so that could be it as well

I dont know if this as been suggested yet but what if you had to upgrade each capital ship with a military or civilian labs? So you would have to research the ship board lab then buy the the labs on each capital ship. I was thinking you could buy it through the ability management tab I believe there is some room there to add them

The nove is not overpowered. In fast I find it rly useless since i only play SP and with the AIs econ cheat the nova doesnt rly help any. Through the DE is still weaker technically speaking but it still has a better use in helping out in attacking worlds. The Kostrua is the most powerful super weapon since it opens a phase node on the worlds it hits so both the nova and the DE needs a buff.
I really like this idea. i think it would be fun and make the game a but harder but we have to face the reality of it, the dev will never add this into the game so the only way this will happen is in mods

there is more than one reason to build a sb other than for aux gov u can add trade routes=increase econ tec can use there sb for shipyard=more ships and more log slots for trade centers and media centers advent can use there sb to spread culture= more log slots for trade centers and they can increase their planets allegiance for more econ vasari can add colony pods to their sb for increase cred income they can be helpful against vas invading force with
/facepalm the nova aint the strongest super IT IS COUNTERED BY A STARBASE WITH AUX GOV!!!!!! with that u cant ever lose a planet or a moon or a roid by the nova EVER in order to lose u have to be attacked by a fleet to take down the SB
The only thing novas do is hurt ur econ and a sb with aux gov means u cant ever lose the planet unless someone attacks ur planet and kill the sb. the engine, even though it sucks, with ur own culture can overthrow a planet and the Kostura can open up a phase node for ur fleets to rush behind ur enemies lines and would cause them to lose that planet. U cant lose control of a world by novas and to me losing a world does far more damage than the econ debuff. Super weapons dont come out much in M
u shouldnt be able to have more than 1 orky in a well at once
the limit alrdy made them like useless a range limit would make them even more useless and a waste cuz u would have to scuttle them to move them to the front line to use them
i played them before the release but no matter how many caps i had i still only had 3 labs idk if it was a bug or something but i they r OP all they have to do is strip a few planets and they can mass produce fleets like crazy

i have done it multiple time 40-50 HCs only fleet can kill a lvl 4 titan with a couple caps supporting the titan. though it was against an Victorious AI but it normally choices good abilities in my experience and so i dont think it will make that big of a difference
