It should be compatible, but since it is a total conversion, you won't require the DLC to be able to play it. In fact, most of the DLC content released thus far, has already been apart of 7DS since version 2.5 (and even 2.1): black hole stars (we had those black hole planets), ship graveyards (except we had neutral ships that could be captured as well), neutron star (ours was purple), we also had oceanic, barren, paradise, naval base, and shattered planets. The only thing we

Update: Almost finished updating to version 1.8 of rebellion, and we are neck deep in planets/stars/particle resizing to things actually look right with all of our enlarged planets, stars, and maps! Hesitant to put a timetable on a release, but we may be having a full, non-modular release in the next two-three weeks. Possibly sooner depending on how much time we can spend modding!

Been a while since I provided any update, so here we go! We are still merging all the of the planets, planetary abllities, maps, etc. into the main mod. Most of what I have been working on is bug fixing because there are stability issues (as in, the mod crashes after about 15 mins of gameplay due to excessive memory usage). Myself and a few others are in the filling in missing content, fixing strings, textures, hud skins, icons, etc. to kill behin
We may look into those. Thanks man! I made a turbo laser platform a while back but I think we still need to texture it.
Interestingly, someone has figured out why Rebellion likes to kill particle effects all the time, unlike Trinity. The problem is anti-aliasing; turns out disabling that fixes the issue, and at least for SoGE, has also resulted in better stability.
Good to know!

An easier way to do this may be to go into the gameplay.constants file and say for instance, double all of the damage modifiers for each weapon type. So for example if ANTIVERYLIGHT weapons do 1.0 (basically the stated damage on the unit infocard) against a VERYLIGHT ship armor, then change that modifier to 2.0 Said another way, edit the damage tables defined in the gameplay.constants file I don't remember exactl
Its showing up now! Thanks. Also, will the mod work with the forgotten worlds update yet?
No prob. And, as ImperatorPavel quoted me... No it is not compatible with the forgotten worlds update. Our planets from earlier versions of 7DS (funny how most of the worlds in the forgotten worlds update were part of our mod since way back when ;)) will be in the formal alpha release. If you would

Snapdown, If you have not done so already, you need to create a free account on the website www.danmangames.com , then once you are on the webpage (after the splash screen where it says to go to the new website), find the grey colored ribbon with the drop down menus. If you hover over the "downloads" part of the ribbon, a dropdown will appear that says "FREE downloads" and "PREMIUM downloads". Hit premium downloads and

So I was able to get the mods loading back up again (and updating to 1.51 in the process!). I decided to try and use the dummy entity file thing to get rid of the dev.exe errors when I don't have all the race mods loaded but they are still popping up! I have the entity player files in the core mod, with 0 ships and 0 reearches and are NOT selectable....However, the abilities/buff files, structures and techs still attempt to load and throw the "failed to find d

Check your string count in the string file to make sure it is correct. Also, verify that all of those strings listed above are infact in the string file. Easy way to do this is the "find" function in notepad. Also in the "find" function is a "count", select the text "StringInfo" for one of the entries, select match case, and hit count.
