Thank goodness I can change it, I've had the game crash on me at the 29 minute mark like 2 times so far.
Classicvibe
I swear they've synchronized their updates so that I get ninja'd like RIGHT before I'm about to beat a game
Yeah, I see a lot of those things..... they come in to attack a planet or fleet and then just sit there >.>
Oh, k thanks for the correction ^^ And yeah, the electron slit thing works so that you have to assume it goes in both directions until it's observed going through either slit in some way. That's quantum mechanics though, which is completely different from relativistic physics.... the opposite electron spin thing with the exclusion principle was an analogy of sorts, they were testing the same principle but I think they carried it out differently.</p
They should let you play "unrated" games that don't add to your win/loss ratio - takes off the pressure of maintaining your reputation and lets people goof off
I'm suspecting the same thing, I kept getting Advent constructor ships popping out to my homeworld's rally even though I couldn't remember when I'd ordered another
Solar flares realistically do destroy like everything in their way (they're strong enough to damage satellites all the way here on Earth), but it'd probably be nerfed in the same way that nukes get nerfed in every RTS.
Um.... I think what was established back in the old days of people like Einstein, in his theory of relativity, was that light travels at the same speed relative to anyone REGARDLESS of how fast they're traveling. I don't think the speed of light varies with its medium The possible contradiction of his theory is there but I'm not exactly sure how. Then there's his other theory talking about space-time and how gravity can bend light enough to compl
Kinda reminds me of Protoss corsairs in the old Starcraft. Those units would go through ANYTHING just to attack a friggin overlord
Only b&w movie that I've watched was the movie adaptation of The Longest Day, was pretty good though
Just tried it out, I blew up an enemy seeker vessel that was in one of my planets. That was totally worth the entire population of my moon =]
Currently playing a 4 player unfair FFA as Advent - The AI seems pretty good with harassing early game, (ESPECIALLY with pirates, the moment you antagonize an AI they put like 5000 credits on your butt) They really do have good hit and run tactics though, at one point I had to split up my ships into 5 different fleets because I was just being attacked everywhere (early game). And I really agree with the OP here, this part of the game was kinda tense and n
You're saying the ships there didn't die or take damage?
Nope. Blew up a moon ( it was the only adjacent planet besides an asteroid) and sent in a maxed fleet in right after, I was confronted by something like 500 full health pirates @_@ Maybe the moon didn't have enough population? I think it would've only done like 600 points of damage
sounds like the geth and quarians o.O
Is it supposed to work on pirates? Tried using it on an adjacent pirate base and it didn't do anything at all >.>
Quoting Classicvibe, reply 5In any case, the AI never ended up surrendering, it only died after I took out ALL of its planets. Capital victory... is there for a reason. Use it!
f Well, back in 0.76 and the version before that, the AIs quit well before I had to completely destroy them....
No, I don't mind how aggressive or annoying they are, just how it seemed a lot more tenacious. In any case, the AI never ended up surrendering, it only died after I took out ALL of its planets.
did a 4 player FFA unfair, started with one AI in my star system I've currently destroyed TWENTY EIGHT of their goddamned capitol ships, the AI has nothing but 2 asteroids left, it never even got to get out one effing Titan. Right now it's been hanging on with its bare teeth by ninja colonizing random planets that currently have too much hostile culture for me to take. And the ENTIRE time, even with TWO asteroids ( with a populatio
Yeah, being limited to 6 or so star systems kinda sucks
I noticed in the 2 singleplayer games I've played so far, there were only like 2 out of 10 AIs that bothered to make frigates. I kept encountering titan/capitol ship only fleets throughout the entire game... are you guys playing FFA games or something like 1v8 melee games?
NVM, I just read the release notes for the most recent updates....
is a 20 flak vs 50 corvette battle even efficient cost wise? The only impression I've gotten so far of corvettes is something the devs introduced just to make Rebellion have more content. Nothing more than space filler. IMO the only viable role for these things is some sort of early game rush/hit-and-run type of unit that gets massacred later on by higher tech units. And I mean like MASSACRED. Lik
Rebellion beta, just updated, singleplayer so like, I click the arrow thingy to go to the vasari selection screen and it just takes me to advent or tec.... Also noticed that in player setup I have two TEC avatars instead of one tec and one vasari. Is there something I need to unlock? or is this a bug? The previous singleplayer games I had with random AI had absolutely no vasari as well
We could have a modern day equivalent supertanker outfitted with 200 mm cannons and it would still not be as ugleh.
Maybe you could go RPG style so that a revived Titan starts out at level 1 but has to go on some sort of hunt for surviving crew members to get back its levels again - go back to its point of death.
