I've gotten the impression that some AI's will repeatedly send their ships back and forth into a battle because of a changing situation that's just on the line, as in one moment the enemy fleet or their own fleet is too big or small to continue the battle, so they retreat, next thing it's the other way around and they send their ships back. Usually sending in my own ships to "tip the balance" stops them from doing it over and over. I've been pl

Well, it's extremely unlikely that anyone will ever encounter a legitimate reason to disagree with Valve's new ToS. I was just wondering how exactly SoaSE fell into the category of Steam games.
So like, is there any way to play this game independently of Steam? Apparently if someone disagrees with their new ToS for any reason, the company has the right to (and will) remove that person's access to purchased games forever. (unless they repurchase) Does this apply here as well? Since I originally bought Rebellion directly from here rather than Steam.
38/63, I have space ponies :3
Going to Bump this thread, can a faction only use Unyielding Will once? The AI rebuilt his titan and I destroyed it again, this time no Will
Offline Mode. Sucks. You have to be Online to be go Offline. The hell?
You spam them with "send 100 Metal" missions and send back the same amount of metal right after. Never fails for me, it's like they complete the mission the moment I send it to them.
The SOASE wiki I found gives a duration of 60, which I assumed to be 60 seconds. The Eradica I just blew up stayed in its nice blue mode for 10 ****ing minutes and took out 300 supply of my ships (including 20 cruisers) in the ONE MINUTE it took for them to jump drive out of the gravwell. I've had less casualties from fighting a maxed fleet with a level 10 ragnarok titan in an effing 10 minute battle. I'ma have to go through this like 3 more times
I did, until I got really carried away blowing up capital planets +best Normally I'd revert to an autosave but I turned that off after someone told me it caused minidumps ya know, I know how this game is really resource intensive and all with the thousands of units flying across the screen in 3D space, but this is pretty much the first time I've seen a game that crashes as much as Sin does.... which doesn't go too well with the f
I just lost like 3 hours of gameplay, hooray.
Yeah... On Normal mode I just steamroll over AIs, then in unfair or higher I get my ass handed to me lol First time I saw a Titan get destroyed by nothing but frigates
I'm serious here, I stayed up till 8 am last night and I can do it again
Goddamnit my finals are on Thursday. Is there a specified release time? I'm staying up for this >:O
Thanks for the heads up, guess I have something else to look forward to after finals now ^^
Are they ever gonna fix this? I've almost forgotten that I bought this game
still no patch. :'(
yeah, I can't even play the game right now because of minidumps T.T
Jesus how many stars are in there?
You should spawn 1 million TNT blocks in Minecraft and see how long it takes your system to render the explosion..... Last time someone did that on a computer with 24 cores and it took them 3 days =D
I used to play Multiplayer over multiple different RTS games, completely quit it a while back because all I ever saw was point trading, cheating, and downright hacking. They all have some kind of "Must win" mentality that just makes playing the game pointless because it becomes some massive epeen contest.
Just delete your System 32 folder. You'll never have another minidump.
you can stab your face multiple times with a knife and have the same result too
Hipster Orkulus..... gravwells are too mainstream
You have to have 4.5 with the AI as well. Right now the AI has 5.1 with you, but it has to be a two-sided relationship =P I usually get my side of the relationship up by spamming the AI with 200 give Metal missions, they almost always fulfill those
They should make it lore specific so that the Advent superweapon actually shoots a massive bag of weed smoke that completely disables all planets and structures in adjacent gravwells because everyone's too high [e digicons][/e] And disables hostile culture spread in those planets by starting hippie revolutions
Is there some sort of safeguard against too many alliances? I noticed I was getting a lot of negatives in Diplomatic actions from one AI when I was building up relations with another one... I remember having one singleplayer game where I was allied (20.00 with both until I started messing around with pacts) with two AI's, they had about 8.00 relationship with each other but it never really went up....
verifying integrity cache and reinstalling didn't help =[ sending save file + minidump
