I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so that when you create a random map it doesn't add any wormholes. I loved the ability to select no pirates on a random map with 1.03 and so was wondering if there was any way to do the same with wormholes?

I second the original question..sorta. I can find the directory needed no problem but don't want to use the hard drive that default mod path is on to store mod/game info. Is there some way to make the game look at a different directory that can be set by the user rather than being forced to use one in doc & settings?

Here's a question, I pre-ordered the game back on something like 3/07. At the time, as far as I can recall, there was only the option of download or download with CD shipped as well and no Collectors edition available. I chose the with CD option but does that mean I automatically get the Collectors edition or is there something I would have to do to get upgraded?

If they added so that you could select they type of placement, ie you could select so that the others systems are empty if there are a low number of players a option called called something like players start clumped together and a option where all the players start roughly equally far away from one another so that if there are three players and three systems they are spread out over the three systems.

I primarily play single player so I don't know if this is a issue with multi player or not. I've noticed that in single player that there are always other empires in the same star system as you even if there are other systems. For example I created a random large game with 3 star systems and with just myself and one other empire. In the setup screen I tried having the computer player being in the spot directly below me and all the way at the bottom and a few tries in the middle. Regardless of wh

When playing my first few games I wished that all my ships that I send on the attack would jump at the same time rather than piece mail. After some digging in the controls I found that the command to toggle that wasn't bound and then realized it's part of the move button. When I tried to use the group jump I've run into problems though. I have my main fleet set as group one and I select them when they are all in the same system and right click the move button to change the phase jump option to "

Well if they are going to announce the date tomorrow and they've stated that they won't release near a weekend and it's still looking good for this month that would probably mean they beta will be released next week on Monday or Tuesday or so....

I have the game. A store in my country started selling them early (official release date is 16 feb. Sadly the release date here isn't until the 20th and I don't know anyone who would be willing to sell me a copy early even if they did have a copy in stock. I've played the beta and demo and it is a very fun RTS in w

Even if the interface is to cluttered or what not hopefully that is something that can be addressed in the beta. Those of us who are in he beta can mention it and hopefully it could either be worked on or maybe made so you can chose how much and what is displayed since there will prolly be just as many people who would want to see the info as those who wouldn't.

One thing which I read in PC Gamer which I haven't seen before concerns pirates. It states that pirates could be considered the norm but if you tracked them down to their home base and took down their base you'll get "enough wealth to buy a fleet"

In the PC Gamer article it the writer talks about how he could easily see Sin being heavily modded over the years in the future and states that Ironclad also sees that and that they are "Going out of their way to make adding customer content easy."

I have a subscription to PC Gamer and got my copy of the march issue last week. There is indeed a two page preview with some sweet pictures and a very positive preview to go with it. I'd post copies of the pictures but that would probably get me in trouble so I'll refrain. Overall a good article that just makes me anticipate the game that much more since I've already pre-ordered and now it's just a matter of time.
