When a force assaults a foreign territory, they always run the risk of making the same mistakes Hannibal did during the First Punic War. Warfare isn't going to change very much just because it moves into space.

All we need is one carrier group and support from the British and French, then Qaddafi is screwed. Obama wants to make sure American troops don't get hurt? No, he wants to talk the talk, but not walk the walk, when more American troops have died for the good of all humanity than most nations put together. Words do nothing to stop monsters like Qaddafi, Neville Chamberlain learned that lesson the hard way in the months leading up to World War II, he was the stupid, short-sighted Prime
Planetary Shields is Tier 5.
I honestly think that Bylak2 is referring to the main action grid not the starbase upgrade menu.
Apparently, too many people who voted for him in 2008, don't know what Obama is. Obama has no military sense what so ever, all he does is talk the talk, commit treasonous acts with our and our allies nuclear secrets (hasn't been confirmed, but wouldn't be surprised one bit if it is true, which is grounds for immediate impeachment), and try to make "peace" with everyone he can no matter how much they want us dead.
There should be an Upgrade Starbase button on the right in the first row above the Squadron Management button, looks just like the above mentioned Squadron Management button. From their you should be able to do all kinds of upgrades.

Have you already done any upgrades? You can only do 8 a starbase.

Yeah, the tables are a mess, just bear with me. I originally picked blue for the links because it is readable on the light colors. It takes a while for the link color to change, the links should all be the new orange by now. See where it says Sins of a Solar Empire Wiki in the link color, to the left of the navigation bar, above articles, and below the top bar, that is the current text wordmark. I was thinking that a version of the pic you, myfist0, presented with Wiki below in the su
You can't use previously saved games with the patch.

I saw your post about it, and took care of it.
Now if I can just get a great wordmark that isn't text, then it will be much better.
No need, I am the only active admin, I have been trying to make it better, I will see what I can do. Edit: I just changed it to the closest I can get to the suggestion.
It never hurts to ask, Syneptus.
Channeling basically means the unit using the ability can't do other things otherwise the effect ends prematurely. Ultimate Abilities are the most powerful abilities capital ships possess, they only have one level, and they can only acquired at level 6 or higher.
That is why I haven't updated quite yet, not that I play Diplomacy much any way, I just hope they back port all of the relevant changes from Diplomacy/Trinity 1.2 to Entrenchment and Vanilla at some point.
This is what I think of about the Battle for Middle-earth series. Battle for Middle-earth was just cheesy, you couldn't command as many units as the trailer advertised, not that I let trailers control my decision to buy a game, they influence it but generally aren't the deciding factor. The unit selection was pretty limited, there were too many levels of veterancy for units, though the way the building system worked was interesting. Battle for Middle-earth II, on the other han
Battle for Middle-earth really doesn't belong in that list, it is alright but if it wasn't The Lord of the Rings, it would have been terrible.
Homeworld has one of the best stories I have ever seen in a game, combined with music that makes you feel the story, and the great gameplay with a lot of variety from being out gunned by frigates when you only have strike craft in the beginning to navigating veins of gas to survive the radiation from a supernova to reach the enemy, it is a masterpiece. I am not sold on Cataclysm and Homeworld 2. I got Homeworld by the time the others had come out, I did know about Cataclysm thanks to
I gave up on IE about a year ago, and I have never looked back. IE is just so unstable and easy to crash, it isn't worth the trouble unless there is no other option, otherwise it is Firefox all the way, it is stable and if it should ever crash, I can just keep doing what I was doing before I was so rudely interrupted, and the add-ins are excellent.
So, can the AIs get on speaking terms with each other yet, otherwise Diplomacy isn't worth playing for a primarily single player person like my self.
Campaigner, I haven't played any of the Total War games either.
Impressive, most impressive, the captions just make it.
