That's kind of the point.
Depends what game you play? At diplomacy the developers added two "purple" (Cruel & Vicious) AI levels where the AI does not "play" the game anymore but follows scripted events. if you record a game and watch the AI you can acutally see the difference most simply at research. On the lower (red) levels the AI will have a research queue and you can watch the progress just like the player. It can also research only according the availa
Yeah, I also rarely build more than one cap as Advent for the same reason... which helps me to not be at a humongous disadvantage to phase missiles. Something else that might work late-game would be to have Repulsion to push enemy frigates away from your caps when they start being fired upon. You might have to have top-tier micro though.
To be honest, if it weren't for those damn phase missiles Advent would probably have the best late-game fleet hands down against both TEC and Vasari...
I think so too. Repulsion is simply amazing, and Illuminator swarms are quite scary. And the phase missile advantage can be partially negated - if you can get the enemy to use their Assailants and Sentinels to fire on your frigates, rather than on your capital ships, t

But you are right that sins already has it's problem with large fleets. Reducing their speed when

Please do not necro threads, Rovakag. This thread was more than two years old before your reply; make a new thread if you want, but don't bump this one. The information here is horribly outdated.

Multithreading would be useful for Sins if users often used low-end dual+ core CPUs / bad graphics cards... but those interested in playing intensive games like this one usually have computers relatively capable of running it on a single core.
