I have several questions> 1. Looking at the screenshots, i see on the planet infocards things like Feudal Society/Polluted Environment/Habitable Caverns...are these the new planet bonuses? Or are these actually in the game right now? To be fair, the only information i was ever looking for on planet infocards are income rate and sometimes allegiance, but thats about it, so i seriously dont know... 2. If it are
Isn't this Stardock's first DLC for a game like ever? Well... I guess DLC replaced Expansion nowadays. Well I look forward to it. Another question, what does this do for mod compatibility? Will mods for regular Rebellion work with the DLC without having to convert a ton of things?
Amazing work as always.
But seriously though, I do know! The answer is in the cube though so its going to take awhile to dig it out.
I hope you arn't making a reference to Curiosity because it ain't going to be revealed anytime soon.
The truth has been revealed!
Here we go again...
Well to be fair, it made a bit more sense and immersive that the fleet actually hyperspaces with me. Not disappear into thin air or is suddenly buffed.
I want Gearbox to succeed but their creditbility has shot down to pretty much nothing after Duke Nukem and ACM. I am scared that Homeworld will be run down into a hole it can't climb back out.
I love how one of the first threads is "Don't **** this up!"
Duke Nukem Forever.... Alien: Colonial Marines... Yeah... well s***. [e digicons]-_-[/e]
Does Blackbird Interactive even have the money to bid for HW? I don't expect the winner to be revealed for awhile to build up a hype. Then all of a sudden come up with HW3 for massive profits.
I'll never understand people's affinity towards achievements.
This is the first time I've ever seen that happen with Sins. You'll just have to contact Stardock support directly to figure it out.
Must be due to this influx of 4x Space Games we've been getting that the genre has been rejuvinated quite a bit.
Rock, Paper, Shotgun Kotaku Metacritic to me is something that should never be relied upon.
If your max is 2 gigs then Sins will never recieve the full 2 gigs. Since just using Windows alone will eat into that. Consider buying some extra RAM. It's like really cheap these days. Just gotta make sure it is compatible with your motherboard.
pointless. just like your moronic post. Is there a way to just purchase diplomacy?
No you can not. But why would you anyways? Rebellion doesn't need the Original, Entrenchment, nor Diplomacy to run. So quit being an ass.
How much memory are you running anyways?
Quoting Pat_22_, reply 5I didn't get the size of the Radiance by comparing it to anything else, and the planets were obviously made smaller for gameplay purposes. Then how did you arrive at that number?
He probably looked at texture windows and scaled them to a person?
Even then using the textures as a reference point isn't the best either. I doubt the textures are scaled that well.
Well Disney has decided that Lucasarts be shut down. Does this change anything for us outside of the actual company? Not really... I mean when was the last time you seen a good Star Wars game not ported over to another company?
So i bought it...at last. Started my first game as Draylok, and well, its pretty complex, when compared to Sins. Seems i am going to need to read the tutorial after all, or watch some of those youtube videos, as i have almost zero experience with this kind of games (beyond Sins i only played Ascendancy and Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain, and that was ages ago). The game looks nice however and the interface is quite good -
Quoting Heavenfall, reply 43 It plays out almost identical to Sins of a Solar Empire, imho (on 2d plane). Of course under the hood it's infinitely more complex, with each ship having hundreds of slots each taking individual damage and performing individual duties. Oh yeah, there are no special abilities or some such that you need to micro. So far every game I've played has crashed, and the AI is kind of poor
Odd concept that this is a "Social" game. I signed up just because of the team's history and that I am pretty sure they can bring a good product out.
