Wow, I've never thought about it. Since Denmark does not have any cattle (the farms all sank into the north sea) the only way to get bacon would be to import it. Since Denmark is about 5000 miles away from the best cattle (US prime) it must be totally overpriced. The danish royalty went into exile not because of the Nazi invasion. No, they went because the war disrupted imports of smoked bacon to the degree that they were $400/lb.

You're TEC? THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU HAVE 3 KOLS OWNING THE TITAN WITH GAUSS RAIL GUN FROM THE VERY START? If you'd been using Dunovs with flux field and 3 Kols with grg max upgraded you could have killed its motherships and then its titan quite a while before the guardians ever arrived. Kols are titan killing machines as long as they have antimatter (you need dunovs or they'll run out).
No idea about lords of the realm. First I've heard of it. Yes, titans are more of a support unit, but they are very very powerful support units. That said, the death of a titan is usually a death knell to its fleet. However, at max level titans easily outgun just about everything. They are actually very cost effective compared to frigates when you consider the amount of use you can get out of them. A fully upgraded level 10 adv
Wait, possum? Is that you?... It can't be! Possum would never serve anyone! Irok! Have you invaded his (wait... ok, i'll just go with he) have you invaded his mind?!
Yeah, too different. GalCiv deals with the entire empire as a whole. Military actions, while necessary to win, actually occupy a minority of your time in GalCiv. SoaSE is the complete opposite. To accurately do a crossover, we would need an upgrade planet window the size of a tech tree. (among other things that are outside the SoaSE engine's parameters).
2. Titans are defenitley not OP. They are actually rather weak, especially to the TEC. The Vasari have the hardest time destroying them since their fleets don't usually have as many starfighters as the other races. With that said, the easiest way to defeat a titan with the vasari once vasari become playable will probably be to mob it with kortuls or to use bomber swarms. The advent have a somewhat easier time of it. The key to killing titans
Banned for not inviting me to the show.
It'll be like Adam and Eve all over again. I'll be the snake in the trees tempting them.
I know, however im not wasting any resources. I'm actually being as efficient as possible. Trying to keep from having to buy 15 light frigates in the beginning is very useful since those thousands of resources can go toward building, well, corvettes for instance. Its not really that major but it's certainly worth it when you think about the fact that caps really do not constitute much of a fleets firepower. Maaaaybe really early on they do but by 10 minutes i
NOOOOOOOOOOO! How could you do such a thing! Think of all the things that couch has done with you! I'll haunt your couch myself and scream constantly to keep you awake at night. Sometimes these things just have to be done.
Banned for seeking rights in general.
I would give you karma but that's god turning off the lights so he can piss in peace.
150-200 creds really is sort of mediocre. He just doesn't have the right planets for a good economy (far too many asteroids).
Actually, the unfair AI doesn't really get that much of a bonus to their economy. It's there, to be sure but i've found it's really easy to own the playing field against them. However, your number of asteroids makes this difficult. There is an uninhabited terran and ice planet next to your top choke point. You need to peel off a small cruiser group to conquer those. With those, it will be very possible to get to 150-200 creds/second. &n
The true reason i like a kol opener is because it's very tough to kill. Many, many times I've been playing and someone scouts my opening capital ships, traps them in a grav well, and kills them. Not the Kol. A Kol and Dunov opener is my fav because the dunov can give it antimatter and further increase its durability. The kol is also good against militia because it can fire in four directions. A dunov-kol combo can destroy just about any oth
Wow. I actually hadn't thought of that. That would be awesome coupled with my earlier idea. You're right, it would'nt be hard to code at all. Or better yet, taunt them to fight a defense platform in the middle of an minefield. [e digicons]}:)[/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
Oh no... When a zombie says abused, you know its going to be totally disgustingly fun to use it and not fun at all to anyone on the receiving end.
Dude, how's your credit income? Numbers?
Exactly. Kols are battleships and so should make up about 50% of any given fleet. This is because the other caps are support ships. SUPPORT. By their nature they fill niches and so should only be needed in limited numbers (unless you want to bomber spam.) Realistically, the battleships should have at least double the firepower they have now since they are meant to fill the role of overwhelming firepower. (though to balance this they should be weak
Fine, but i still think they need to have a 7% reduction in effectiveness against caps. Titan damage is fine
True, i've always liked them better anyway. But upgrade the advent dreadnought. It NEEDS it! It has, like, no frontal firepower at all.
Beyond the scope of a mod... Thats Hearsay yeah but any skilled player will just send their fleet after the weak orbital defense sattelite. What do you mean by retaliation damage? Like if they're bombing the planet? And the kol's current upgrades really only make it slightly better than usual since all the caps were upgraded. To become competitive against kortuls it needs a better final ability. Getting more GRG's in or upg
Buffing it would help make it more popular since at the moment the pros dont use it since its not as good as the other caps and the noobs just look at its damage and say "i'll just bomber spam". And yes, i generally play Distant Stars using save games with my friends. I've managed to get a rather large group hooked on it. 20 in all! Totally forgot you could'nt do that in regular sins. Buying several levels still helps alot though. I
Do i get karma?
