We could have a karma gangbang if Krdax was here...
Banned for using a normal green not on saint Patrick's day. You could have used dark green but nooooo...
Gracias karma all round!
Is this the mod where you can invade a planet instead of just bombing it?
No. Atleast i havent been able to after about 150 games.
Just wanted to thank you guys for the great mod. Btw, it would be nice if in the next update you could balance the kol to make it a true battleship. You could make its ultimate increase its firing rate by 50% as well as all the other stuff it already does OR, you could make it so that the ultimate gives you 3.5 antimatter per second rather than 2 Just some ideas. Thankyou again. OH! i almost forgot. &nb
haha, tweebs. Yeah, Wail of the sacrificed does damage on opposing fleets by sacrificing the planet's populace. With a dyson whichamakallit (the other one, not dyson sphere but dyson something else. It can get up to 8000 population with upgrades) With 8000 population it would do something along the lines of >24000 damage to every single ship in an attacking fleet. That would be like a uber red button of doom. That'd obliterate
I absolutely agree with you. The unfair AI is stupidly unfair. They need to only be able to get one of each unit type at a time. Vicious AI's need to be given some space ponies plush toys. The AI's need to be given a directive. 1) make a fleet slightly weaker than yours 2)never retreat 3)always engage your fleet in a losing battle and try to make as big a light show as possible
They still hurt you in the cap department
Just remove the corvette's effectiveness against capital ships. That would really reduce the overuse of the corvette.
Then it will be actually justifiable to use it as a battleship
Back to the topic, i think that the only help the kol needs is a buff to its ultimate that makes it also increase damage of its base weapons by like, 35%.
I play pvp alot. remember, i only play on huge maps so my initial fleet is tailored for mowing through defense forces. My fleet becomes much much more diverse after a little while once ive got my massive economy going (takes about 12, to 15 minutes total from start). To get your eco into high gear quick you need at least 6 or 7 civilian sattelites. While im at it i research the extra training levels Early frigate fleets are exp
No, im saying that the extra time spent destroying defense forces that using the akkan entails is worth more to me than better resource extractors. I prefer carving out a huge swath of space and building dozens of trade facilities to get my creds to 300 per second. Then i can buy all the metal i want. We're just using differing theories on beginning strategies.
If you get ships while you're UPGRADING the fleet supply, it does not register the increase in fleet supply until after the research is complete, but it does register the decrease from buying ships.
Dude, you can just buy your way to level 6 anyway... I tend to get the first two then take a moment to get hoshikos and kodiaks as a cap killer. then after about 7 or 8 minutes i'm ready for 4 caps
The akkan is not really useful unless you want to go eco. It's got shitty damage output and targeting uplink only really works if you've got a fleet, which doesn't work in the beginning. Late game it does better by trapping caps before they can phase jump and with armistance but by then you have no need for its most important trait: economy. plus by late game fleets are big enough that the weak armor makes the akkan go down in seconds. Early
akkan is usually my third, except when im spamming kols.
Personally i start with a kol then instantly get a dunov. I don't like paying for light frigates that die quick until i get hoshikos. keep in mind that's diplomacy. I mostly play the most recent DS mod so this isn't rebellion. I use the kol 'cause they upgraded the damage of the autocannons by about 25% compared to everything else. That said in a big rebellion game a few days ago i had three teammates and we all special
What do you mean? I'm not really seeing how this would help the Revelation any...
you run your fleet with at least one Revelation and radiance to the planet and start bombing the rev starts disabling key targets nearby but gets focused by the rest of the enemy fleet, you then grab there aggro with animosity and then make them run out of range of the . the revelation can c
Oh all-knowing and glorious Bilun, what would you have us do? Give it a throw-stones ability? I think it would be better to give it an ability to increase damage by say... 30%. Hopefully the ability could be made to not interact at all with other abilitys, meaning you could have it going from cruisers and your cap at the same time but does not apply to the damage % that the cruisers messed with, it would just effect the base damage then get added later
Thanks for that horribly helpful outburst Mr. I-don't-know-who-without-a-face. I think what he means is that the programming for building strikecraft somehow got effed up during the building process. Or maybe he means he's already having problems with it and doesn't want to exaberate the problem. We may never know... [e digicons]o_O[/e]
I would give you karma, but why do i need to when KrdaxDrkrun is up and about?
Her soul? I've got something to put it in. That silly dress? I'd like to see that Oh! Oh! We could take KrdaxDrkrun's karma from her! that would be a hard blow. WTF? where'd the link
