Advent have always had a better super late game then TEC. Crazy Fleet Synergy does that. Waiting until every player has a mature fleet is not playing to the TEC's strengths. TEC hits it's late game much earlier(better economy) and has a better early game. If you hit the late game and the Advent's economy is close enough to yours that they fielded 12/14 of your army size(12 cap ships vs 14) you've already screwed up as TEC

I guess I was more hoping for some additional general relevance of culture rather then culture's primary relevance being "are you playing advent or do you have an advent opponent". That said, Advent Culture

I really like the idea of making the rebels more strikecraft based(especially since pretty much all of the loyalist damage boosts affect everything except for strikecraft). Definitely a great way to differentiate the factions. to the ideas of the above poster: [quote who="Volt_Cruelerz" reply="10" id="3123989"] .... So perhaps the rebels should get the following: Eradica Titan Ch

Culture still is a bit underwhelming. A very simple change, which really "fits" what culture already does would be to make hostile culture prevent colony frigates from capturing neutral extractors in asteroid belts and whatnot in the same fashion it prevents colonization. It would be a method short of permanently committing forces or building a starbase to reliably hold neutral extractors(at the very least preventing vasari

There needs to be a way to defend against Novalith population damage. Personally I'd like to see planetary shields buffed a bit & Advent hardened cities reworked. OF course 1 technology shouldn't provide an empire-wide resistance to novaliths(there should be a per-planet investment). So I'd like to see something like this: Hardened Cities: &nb

Advent loyals seem prett well defined to me. They are all about aggressive expansion. This is realized largely due to their greatly improve early game culture pressure and late game Coronata ult. Also Assimilated populace can be giving them a fleet-wide damage boost most of the tiem if they stay on the offensive, and PLanet for a Planet means they don't really need to bother protecting non-key worlds(just stay on the offensive, enjoy the fleetwide 25% dm

What if it were changed to something like: change 1: Titans don't share experience with capital ships. Experience gain of titans is not reduced by the presence of allied capital ships. change 2: titans can only gain experience from killing frigates up to level 3 or so(maybe 4 at the highest). increase titan experience from destroying structures, capital ships, and other titans

While corvettes may need a nerf, I think any nerfs tot he advent corvette need to be handled VERY carefully. It can't be allowed to get any worse at killing LRFs. Honestly I wish they'd give it it's own damage

They need a nerf, but -25% damage -50% hull/shields is way too extreme. With your very numbers they barely beat the damage of heavy cruisers(nowhere near the 33% higher that would correspond to a 25% damage Nerf), and heavy cruisers have all of their weapons in forward non-point defense damage. Other differences: heavy cruisers have the very heavya rmor type which is great against pretty much everything besides bombers & cap ships. By contra

I was playing the rebel TEC at the time and was astonished to watch this. I quickly moved my entire fleet of 12 cap ships, my titan and over 300 ships to intercept and managed to focus the titan down in about 1.5mins o

Use them to fleet to another gravity well to take out that military lab unopposed... you are saving your ships from destruction and really hurting your opponent. They take out constructors very quickly, so good luck trying to build a defense. I would say increase the

The eradica basically needs: 1). base weapons improved. In actuality I think increasing the damage of it's psionic surge from the current *roughly* 18+2/level to 45-54+6/level is exactly what it needs. It already has plenty of technology-scaling weapon damage(it's pretty comparable to TEC titans there), the place where it lags behind is in weapons with no technology scaling(the TEC titans both get very strong non-technology scaling weapons...Eradica gets 18 +2/leve

I'd rather see the rebels diversified so they work differently.

I have to agree that titans retaining their levels is necessary. Otherwise the game snowballs out of control as soon as someone loses a titan. Honestly while that titan may be rebuilt at full level, the guy who killed the titan has a full 7-10 minutes(depending on game build speed) of relatively unobstructed planet conquest(you have a titan and they don't). That said there really should be a titans disabled game mode. And w

I noticed a bug with the Advent Loyalist technology "Assimilated Populace". The effect of this technology does not appear to activate when a planet is captured via the Coronata's Repossession ability rather then by normal colonization. Additionally a second *potential* bug which could also just be the tooltip of this technology not being precise enough: The bonus from this research when activated is applied to frigates, capital ships, and

Or rather 1 bug with this ability and a 2nd *possible* bug: 1). "Planet for a Planet" is currently activating it's effect when the advent destroys an enemy planet in addition to when the advent loses a planet. This bug only occurs when the planet is bombarded to death convetionally, not when the planet is stolen with the Coronata's Repossession ability 2). not sure if this is a bug or just the tooltip not being precise enough,
