I think he means the color of his team, in which case he just has to click the logo before his team name and it will open the color/logo charts screen and he can choose the light blue so he can identify his own ships and things.

Add me to the list of people who can't get into the game, I have the latest Nvidia drivers 306.23 which I did a clean install of 3 days ago, i even reinstalled the game from steam and still it gives me a black screen on my ASUS G75VW Gaming Laptop.

I did a clean install to beigin with when I got the laptop, also my laptop only has 1 GPU, it don't have a Intel HD card, so setting make sins use only the Nvidia GPU isn't possible as that's the only card in my laptop and s already using it. Also The only way making SINS use the Nvidia card in Control panel is through 3d application as far as i can tell, even then I can't see any option to USE exclusivly the NVidia card. I did download them straight from Nvidia.com, I Nvidia doesn't have an auto update patching system fro their drivers.
