In Diplomacy you had to have a Phase Pact, in Rebellion you need to research Shared Phase Lanes. I can't answer to the OP's question, tough
Draco-nyan
The problem is that (almost) everybody thinks that these things must be changed, but nobody agrees on how to change them
Yes. Even if it regains Hull or Shields, it will die no matter what.
If I remember correctly, the only version after 1.04 is 1.1, so here's the changelog https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/436120
You can also press tab to switch between galaxy view and gravity well view, if I recall correctly
If he's investing on early Novaliths, it means that he isn't investing much on his fleet or defenses, so you may have an advantage
If you buy Rebellion, you have every contents from the original game, Diplomacy and Entrenchement, plus new content (like subfactions, corvette, titans). So if you want everything, go ahead and buy just Rebellion. The only thing you can't do if you have Rebellion, is playing online with people who only have Trinity
Yes, you need to open just port 6112 to host. You don't need to open any port to connect to another host.
They have a slow eco start because they don't get trade ports until T4 and culture until T5.
I just wish to correct this: You need three labs to research and build culture as Vasari
Truce Amongst Rogues will work even if you scuttle your labs, so it's not possible to revert it without some kind of modding
I can confirm that you can load a game saved in multiplayer while playing singleplayer, and play as any human in the game.
You're right, I thought only about the resource benefit, and not about the logistic slots, thanks
Thanks a lot for the answers
I've read sometimes of people who reccomend scuttling the first Capital Ship factory when your first Capital Ship is almost ready, to get some resources. However, as a noob who never played multiplayer on ICO, I do not fully understand the benefit of it. Could you please explain to me why you should (or should not) do it? Won't you find yourself at a disadvantage when you will need to build another Capital Ship? As a Vasari, should I research Improved Salvaging first? Thanks,<
You have to build a starbase with the trade upgrade on the non-colonizables, however on a magnetic cloud all abilities are disabled, so you are unable to build a starbase. This effectively stops your trade route
Quoting what others said in some threads, the cap is hardcoded at 1. However you can spawn more via abilities.
Here you are: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/429281
EDIT: misunderstood question.
If you want the developers to even consider your suggestion, you should elaborate your ideas more. I think there are some mods available which add moons
The gap between Hard and Unfair is really wide. I can easily defeat Hard AIs teamed together, but even a single Unfair AI can be too much to handle for me.
There is no way to attack the pirates and neutral factions again once you research Truce Amongst Rogues
Bit unrelated, but because this is about VL related bugs -> yesterday i played a game, where i researched the tech, which gives the credit income to the capships, the description says 2.0... bur after that, when i went over that credit number with the mouse and it lists all the planets, tradeports, capships and upkeep, it would say 3,5 credits for a capship (or 7, when i had 2 of them). Not sure if this is bug, or am i missing something.

Then they go to the forum for help or tutorials and see complaining and trolling and noob insults and probably just go, "meh" and play it solo from then on. For the players with the time to be active in MP regularly, real effort should be made to welcome and help train new players. The forums would be a great place to set the stage for this except the forum base has its own "games" going and isn't often that helpfu
Why do you think it is dying? Is it only because of the poor balancing?
