Tell me, is HummerX and Sinkillr the same person, or different people? What does your analysis of style tell you?
To be honest, I could care less whether they were the same or not. I would trust neither as a reliable source of information. So you say people can make up stuff, yes? Or that it is hard to figure out multiple accounts? For the sake of argument, let's sa

If we were, it would be easy tell. our tone would be extremely similar. Plus, you have thus far, attempted to hide your alts as much as you can, the notable exception being HummerX.
You talk about multitasking like it's a bad thing in an RTS. The fact of the matter is in any RTS you'll at times have to manage multiple things at once. The trick isn't to nullify multitasking. It's to make that multitasking as convenient as possible so that player skill can shine through. Multitasking is part of the beauty of RTS games. A self-sorting Empire Tree so that the actua
No, stuff like certain technologies, ankylon, and the effectiveness of flak sre worse than ever.
If what you were saying was to be taken seriously, a person could simply build nothing but flak and win. Flak has its share of weaknesses too. Balance is definitely better than the previous versions of Sins, but there's more that could be done.
again, you just need a better UI. The empire tree and auto fleeting are a start, but it needs to move to the next level. No need to change gameplay.
A better UI would not solve the problem. If you have 2+ battles going on simultaneously, your attention is divided. Either you need to: 1
I am conflicted. I would love a turn bases strategic and real time tactical... but I don't think I want Sins 2 to be that... Maybe for a spinoff? Things I really want (which should be possible with nitrous) is object based weapons (so that you can have accuracy % and fast ships can dodge slow shots etc.) missiles that can be intercepted by either certain weapons or counter meas
And they neutralized combat frigates. The fleet compositions are utterly different before and after them because of their crazy AoE.
It has made the game kind of Titan-centric. Depending on your perspective that can be a good or a bad thing.
A categorical buff doesn't exactly seem ideal. And besides, the balance conce
SotS had tiny little fleet battles. When you're only tracking a dozen objects, you can do whatever you want to. Rotating turrets in Sins, where you track thousands of objects, would have been extremely impressive.
Modded SOTS could have larger fleet battles, with 10+ dreadnoughts, although I see where you are going with that. With 64 bit, I think that this is a real possibility.
Well....I've never actually seen Hummer and Sinkillr in the same game on ICO, but they are separate steam accounts... And lets face it, does Sinkillr really strike you as the type of person to own two steam accounts?
Wait ... so this guy plays 2 accounts in the same game at once? Is that some sort of strategy to try to win the game? [quote who="Sinkillr" reply="42" i
I think they tried this and it made LRFs melt as they have a similar armor composition to that of bombers.
That would explain it. Hmm ... I think that end game bomber spam can be very powerful in many ways. The only real solution I can see is to create a new category of armor specifically for bombers and somewhat buff fighters and flak to be more effective against it. That a

Installation was complete and it's looking like the 2GB limit is working. What size maps are you playing? I think about 100 stars is ok, any more and it will use more than 2gb physically.

First, I think not all particles are showing up on my game? Within my documents, there's a file called rebellion.user.setting. This I think is the limit: MaxParticleCount 7200 If I set it to this, MaxParticleCount 72000 Should it solve that problem? The other is the AI bonus. I think in the 1.82 patch notes, the AI at the higher d

Now that I think about this, anti-light would be better suited for a 2nd weapon on all cruisers versus anti-very light. But yeah, I'm at a loss as to how else they could be made effective, other than a flat out buff to their firepower and hp.
The problem with heavy cruisers is that their intended counter is bombers, which are an extremely popular unit. They are also somewhat of a jack of all trades unit, as they can counter most other combat frigates, but other units do a better job at killing any one particular kind of unit. They used to be the best non-carrier unit against LRF, but corvettes took that role from them. If bombers were less good or they got buffed against a certai

6.0000 Put this in your race config file for that faction for 6 traits for example. All units will then have up to 6 traits.
Yeah, after painful discovery you find that all units you can train can have no more than 4 SelectedAbilityBonusOptions, this includes the blood traits. So, effectively you can only put 3 other abilities per trainable unit. On the other hand, you can have lots of SelectedAbilityBonusOptions, if you are not going to train the unit but be given the unit via a spell or quest or treasure.
You c
