And maybe a break down of the score... like where the points came from (for each game) :) DB might get huge real quick ;)

nevermind, just read your post
aha, very nice. Is the forum gonna be split into topics?
There any explantion on what the icons mean?
Thats pretty neat. Does the AI have access to all of the invasion tactics? If so, how does it deceide which to use, since there can be user-defined ones?
So Invasion tactics are images? When I think of invasion tactics, I think of how an AI will attack you....
Invasion tactics are moddable? Howso?
Are the files in the library gonna be included with the release version or bonus pack?
Maybe not improve, but modify, so for the B5 mods for instance, the races could be even more customized to act like their B5 counterparts.
What is Mutil?
Yea, not saying GalCiv needs to be more difficult, would just be an interesting exercise in game AI :)
hehe, welll... you could get 2 p4 3ghz with hyperthreading ;) Although that doesn't really equal 4 processors :) Using other local machines would work too.
Heh, its possible.... and an interesting idea. I don't know how GalCiv is setup... but i think it has a limited number of things it does. So there is probably a max time limit it spends. That would be a very interesting twist to a strategy game. It wouldn't be very hard to program, to have it offload some processing to other machines. Course you could always go with a dual/quad processor box too.
A b5 mod would be great... but is the harcoded AI able to accuratly represent the factions? Like the Shadows? Guess all they would do is kill :) There used to be a game called Escape Velocity... that has great mods available for it... star wars, b5, star trek etc...
and if you don't have sdc? Can we still get to the channel via mIRC or such?
gonna try a larger map on incred? :)
So what will the players be able to mod in the game?
are the games your playing with the bonus pack?
yea... that is a shame. Although, I could see a system where by a user only has access to certain c++ files, edits them... the system compiles and presents the user with an exectuable. Not good for the everyday person, but people who want to help develop in their free time. I am interested in how the metaverse works.... Is it just a form that the developers read and then take into account? or is the report generated by the game itself. A way we could mod the AI's would be a
very nice. Looking forward to the 26th.
Damn, I was gonna buy/download it today :(
Thats a shame. So the beta is no longer up? I was thinking of buying it now and play the beta until release.
The biggest problem right now is there has been no response from QS about bugs. They have pretty much disappeared from the forums at least.
Im enjoying Moo3. Ive played the 2 previous and like this one too. It isn't perfect though, there are drawbacks in the research model and in the enemy AI. But overall Im liking it.
Once Ive played moo3 into the ground, I'll definatly be getting the subscription and downloading the beta. Very nice policy.
