IPlural I take 14 perscription pills each day myself, all that have to be tweaked on a regular basis. Lots of side effects. I know the feeling of never ending medical activity as a consumer. Even with advances in medicine over the last decade that with out I would of been dead a long time ago, it's still depressing to stare at those darn bottles, smile at the nurces, not yell at the doctors. Dog gone it. I just checked. Sure enough mine was back at 60 again. And yes it makes a differance especially if you view the screen from an angle and a distance. I noticed this while pouring a soda the other night. I've reset it a couple times but thought I had it. I would like to know of a sure fire way to solve this. I am sorry. I was refering to my experience with Stardock Central. The high contrast of black text over white background is not to my likeing. And while checking the Chat function a fella told me that his was not like this so I was reporting it as a possible bug. While in the Chat or WinCustomize forum (all from within Stardock Central 0.92.123 the black on white is everwhere accept the: File View ... Subject From ... Hey, its srtategy, welcome aboard. The pop ups in Hearts of Iron were insane. I felt there was a great game in there, I just didn't have the patience. Maybe later. At a dollar a GIG theres room for a lot of games on the hard drive. Its a matter of finding the time. Or in my case making the time for actually making a living. Just turned 39 bye the way. so that means I have at least another 20 years good gaming ahead of me, and I will then have more patience like our friend Elrikk.

It was hard just browsing their forums. So many + & - flaming. Beta tester getting flamed. It just seemed to me an outside voice saying kick back and do anything else for a while, let em fix it a little. Then try it again. Heck if they do actually succeed with the "series" of patches they have planned I would be willing to bet a largeproportion of GalCiv players will end up with both games on their hard drives. Hmm, I'm hoping I can build a directory of say classical and past it in when I feel melodramatic. Another version of the directory when I want to Rock out. Anyhow thats the idea. Sounds like I will get my wish. Heck I might even listen to SimCity 4s tunes when I feel methodical. Ooo I just had an idea! I have the soundrack CD from Morrowind, YA that will be good.

These fellas have had a hard time, they were finally told today that there is indeed a series of patches in the works. Just felt like saying something. Fell free to reply to this thread. IMHO, I like the Stardock Central client... in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

It refreshes much faster than my normal web browser and auto updates the threads. I expect the chat feature will get used a lot as the game releases. As I posted in the WinCustomize Forum, (ya and there is a GalCiv Strategies forum there too.) a lot of my screen is black print on white background. May be just my system.
