The best thing would be if this guys learnt how to play.
No, the best thing would be putting down the video games for a bit and tackling that remedial grammar course.

PLEASE let there be a toggle setting much like the resource/speed toggles that allows a player to SLOW DOWN production speeds on ships and buildings. As it is right now, the game ceases to be strategic when you are able to build ships at three times the speed that they can be destroyed (yeesh...) - there is little incentive to worry about being careful with your forces since a replacement fleet can be whipped up in mere minutes (sometimes before the original battle is even over!). <

Hopefully you're not using Vista... I had ENDLESS problems using my ATI card with Vista (the dreaded atikdmg error) and finally had to ditch the card and go to an nVidia card... this was after endless tweaking and Catalyst versions good luck!

I've only been at the game for a short while but of the few rounds that I've played, I *always* see that the AI has taken in nearly twice my economy and I am baffled at what I might be doing wrong. Is economy solely a byproduct of population and trading posts or is there some other layer to it? And what exactly is a refinery supposed to do? I am unclear on whether it assists the normal metal/crystal harvesters or whether it sucks value out of the random debris that is floating around th

I've noticed that sometimes when I start a game there is no acknowledgment voice although all the other sound effects and music seem to be there. I've noticed it with the Vasari several times now and on the last occasion, going into the settings and playing with the voice sound effect slider seemed to fix the issue. Anyway, it's an odd little bug that I wanted to bring up.

People are chirping in that good diplomacy is an unrealistic expectation in an RTS and I view this game more as a 4X game with an RTS engine rather than an RTS with 4X sensibilities. That said, having a solid diplomacy system is not a kooky request and suggestions to simply keep teams locked is to absolutely give up on the problem and turn away from an entire aspect of gameplay (and by that I mean the role of playing the diplomacy-based game of manipulation and subterfuge, which is often more sa

One aspect of the present version of the game that drives me nuts is the warped reality that results in the ability to build a spaceship faster than it takes for one to be destroyed. Obviously, this isn't always the case, based on what sort of carnage is going on but it still ruins whatever tiny bit of immersion that exists that these are real empires going at each other rather than spawning Space Invaders that just keep regenerating as long as the cash holds out. It makes the game a we

Is the print manual the same as the PDF one? If not, is there a help file/online manual that describes all of the technologies? I get annoyed at not being able to choose wisely as the countdown clock is running and I can't read all of the fine print before I make my choice.

Hopefully nobody has mentioned this earlier but I'd love to see morale introduced into the game. Right now, the game is sort of a "Kohan in space" sort of vibe and throwing morale into the mix would be swell.
