Impulse is not designed to handle multiple registrations of the same thing on one account, so you should put them on separate accounts to make it easiest.

Seems rather extreme to try and save a few resources. Especially considering you can just go kill a few militia to level up the Akkan and use rank 2 Colonize.

You can right-click on Sins in Impulse and use the archive option to save a copy for later installs if you wish to avoid redownloading it to install it later. It can later be installed from that copy via the Restore from Archive option in the Impulse menu (going there will also open a dialog to the location where the files are at, so you can easily copy it if you want to store it elsewhere).
Yes, but the game even is advertised as Multicore in germany. Since it's still being sold, there's at least two years warranty on these copies. Furthermore, advertising features which do not exist is unlawful in germany.
That would be something you'd want to take up with Kalypso, the Euro publisher. We do not handle the European packaging or advertising.

Sins will use extra cores to handle texture loading as needed, however other than that it is largely single-core. Given the large investment that would be needed to change the code that significantly this late in its lifecycle, I doubt that additional multithreading is a change we'll be likely to see (versus actual gameplay changes as are coming in Diplomacy).

Impulse is not spyware and is not required to be running in the background, however if you do not wish to use it, you will not be able to update the game.

If you've lost your serial key and you did previously register it, you can recover it by entering the email address you registered it to at support.stardock.com . If you did not previously register it with us then we won't have it either, and unfortunately the only option at that point would be to purchase a new serial key (which is available at a discount compared to bujying another copy outright). If you need to go that route you can contact su

In an earlier version there was an issue with one of the particle types not expiring, causing the game to continuously grow the particle count until it hit the limit. Try increasing the MaxParticleCount value in your user.setting file and see if that helps. If so some of the newer particles might have the same issue.
