Benji_online is right if people stop taking the literal interpretaton of Gensis. Only that God created the universe before ten to the minus 42 seconds. And if you don't ask how he did it and just observe like a scientists, then nothing gets contradicted. Evolution well...if it did happens as it claimed, than it does not contradicted that God is responsbile for the creation of mankind. Well as Einstein saids, God does not play dice. But unfortunately he does, and when he does, he is still re

try pressing ctrl and z. or if not, go to options where there are keyboard hot key change options. It will tell you. If i am wrong, can someone please correct me.
i never have problem with the update system. And please clonehigh, have some manners, stop making yourself sound like a 10 year old. If you have a complaint, do so in a polite fashion. Don't need to cause a scene on the forum.
I am sure someone has already done a ph.D for balancing Starcraft 1, it really own't be long before innociv gets his for Sins.
the only thing i remembered about the homeworld arts and graphics were the ships look very japanese anime influence. But that is neither bad or good, it just set it apart to be different and very memorable. Sins's ship is kinda like looking at Nexus the jupiter incident. Playing Nexus felt like watching a sci-fi movie at times. Playing Homeworld felt like watching a japanese anime.
but can't stardock release patches for galciv2 that will take advantage of the most up to date graphic cards. If not, then maybe they should find a way to do it for their next upcoming fantasy based strategy game. Or they can release a patch that will either add or delete lines of code which will do this. I am not a programmer, but if they can get around the problem of graphics, then the game engine issue is nto that a big deal. Look at it this way, there are games that are bing developed wh
don't you people have any tact when it comes to making criticism. you think this is an internet forum, hence you can be extremely rude at people's creative work.
i don'r understand how the replay function works, i don't even know how to view a previous play game, or save one for later reviewing.
but for gauss turrents, are the damage inflicted per hit the same for both advent compare with TEC. I think TEC is slower, because it fires bullet like salvos compare with Advent where it is more beam weapon hence more continuous.
I want to ask..is TEC in 1.03 become extremely powerful. My friend and i played separate single player games. He said for him, it was way too powerful because it can get income way too fast. For me...i find that its abilities to collect crystal is extremely slow. He thinks advent is useless, because their ships are so weak. I told him..no, but they have good shields. In my current game, i am being attacked by 3 different factions, one vasari a
this made my dad :D
there will be a campaign come expansion. It takes time to make a campaign and the devs did not have time to fit it all in. besides, what they tried to do was in a sense an experiment in new game mechanics implementation, which end up to be extremely successful given the reviews. I guess one step at a time.
boarding and capturing of enemy ships would be nice, just assign random success or failures to it. Maybe make it a researchable tech, and let the computer automate it. And do it only if ships are with in certain distances of each other. Also, planetary invasions are nice. It doesn't have to be fancy, the computer can just state whether the attempt was success or a failure and decide it based on probabilities.
I want to ask, if you have a trade alliance with the AI, does that mean that it won't attack you. I am playing a large map being TEC, and two AI advent players are asking me for trade alliances, in the middle of a firefight with them. After i accept their offer, their ships refuse to leave. WTF??? that is one hell of a funny trade alliance, i mean, if you are going to trade with someone, you should not be attacking them too. Also, in one
I think in a sense, the reviewer got it both right and both wrong, it depends on whether you are part of the competitive game playing or the hard core game playing crowd. By hard core, i mean people likes their games to not only breaks ground in every aspect in game mechanics and game design, but with perfect execution. And competitive gameer type, i am referring to all those pro star craft players. For me, Sins will always has its own charms, and to echo Frogboy, the game is not as in depth
I want to ask, to actually win a game session in Sins, do you have to literally either wipe all the other players off the map?? Or is it enough to make all the other AI players surrender. Also, what is your longeest gaming session for any one map. I think for mine, it was like 10 hours on a five stars system large map. And i hardly took out anyone or move beyond the star system i started out in. :(
I find that in 1.03, after destroying the AI seige frigate, which ever race it happens to be, the AI still retreats, but it takes longer this time than pre 1.03. I was TEC and the AI was Advent, and it has those caps with disabling abilities and it just kept trying to disable my repair platforms and my gauss cannons. but i persisted and managed to destroyed the seige frigates. AI's force had a slight numerical superiority over mine, but it left nonetheless. I thought it was staying for the
more movement tactics and combat options for ships. Like functions for guarding structures and other ships. Having different formations options and also ability for evasive manuvering and also cover fire would be nice. Last thing is options of attacking while holding its ground would be nice too. This way, there are more tactical elements to combat.
Galciv 2 gold edition has been out for almost a year now. And the price at my local EB games has not been dropping, soooo don't expect Sins to be dropping anytime soon.
And we still don't know how they go the bathroom to relieve themselves.
Reinhart, did you read what i said before you quote me, i said Kyro/Yarlen said that it might or might not be that an expansion might not be out at least Feb of next year, so it takes a while for an expansion to get developed. So it is not unreasonable that the devs might make an announcement, but it is just a matter of when. I am asking when that announcement might be. I do not think i am being demanding. If i said "i would like to see the expansion to be out come next feburary" and start ma
Look..i am sorry if this thread has caused some replies that are more or less can be come across as uncouth. Before HL2 came out, the devs at Valve told PC Gamer in an interview that they were planning a HL3, that was way before it even came out. I think Kyro/Yarlen told us that we MIGHT (not for certain) that the expansion release date will probably be Feb of 2009. Hence i am expecting something to be tentatively on the drawing board from the devs and schedules for different milestones to be
An AI that can back stabbed. That is one awesome AI. So now, we can make computer AI into HAL, next, it might even start to develop a conscience. :D
it felt like an eternity already since the game has already been released. And i am only asking for a plausible date for when a paid expansion will be at the works. I am not asking something written in stones.
I would like to ask the devs, when can we expect that an announcement for an upcoming Sins expansion, i.e. when can we expect announcement than beginning of beta testing phase. Thanks
