Awesome to hear. It was mainly due to lack of models and textures at release I assume?
Yes. Lack of time really ... the mod was essentially rewritten from scratch in 0.90 to fix all the minidump issues.

- I think the loss of the Victory was to differentiate from the Republic faction. I think there are some tweaks to the lineup of cruisers so that they are better balanced. - Scale won't be changed. Trust me, we can discuss all day what is or isn't canon. But unless someone gets Eville to redo them (and he's said he won't), it is sized as intended. - Research is slowly being worked on - but it isn't a priority. I know Lavo and NovaCameron have some stuff don
You might have a bad download. I would try redownloading the file
I'm waiting for someone to do Ringworld now :)
Searching Warlords gallery, I found this ...
Until Stardock introduces a way to destroy planets, I don't expect to see a Death Star in-game. There are models for some of the KOTOR era ships, but there aren't enough yet to make one faction. If there are enough from TOR, perhaps you'll see them.
The beta adds two new races - which need to be polished and properly balanced before they can be released. And besides the goodies that NovaCameron and Lavo have been working on. There hasn't been a lot of time to work on it, until both of them started to add significant contributions. It will be released when it's ready. That's all we can say really since none of us are paid :)
Good work Nova!
SOGE tries to stick to canon as much as possible. Where needed, artistic license was used for certain models. Trust me: Eville Jedi is one of the most knowledgeable guys on Star Wars ships. Not saying that everything that is done is right or perfect. Feel free to suggest improvements.
All the better for Sins of a Galactic Empire , - new factions, check - super-capital "Titan" ships, check - new capitals and corvettes, check - Loyalist and Rebel activities, check - new capital abilities, check - new lightning and particle effects, check Pretty much anything that a Star Wars mod can ask for. Beautiful
We will be accepting beta testers while our Mantis bug tracker is down. Cheers :)
The problem hasn't been donations - but distribution. We don't want to make a package for every time things get changed. Nor manage which patch everyone has. Version control allows us to do this pretty seamlessly, but it isn't exactly the friendliest method for people. The signup is just a simple test for those that can read and follow instructions :)
Sorry the bug tracker hasn't been brought up yet Try this
Sorry we're having some issues with the subdomain configuration. It should be back this weekend sometime
Go through every single mod file, copy and paste, pray :) In all seriousness, given the limit to the number of races, textures, models, memory... you're not likely to find the ultimate combined mod. You can probably combine a few races, mix a few graphics and planet mods, throw in some music mods.. and come out with a decent combination. Best of luck doing that
Links to swrebellion.com will be back up this week. We're in the middle of a server migration. Sorry for the trouble
Essentially mod effort = time unpaid, since we're all doing this for free. :) We've gotten a few people's help, but no one dedicated from the start to it (besides Eville himself)
There is currently no texture for it. The fix for the Malevolence minidump should be here Lavo has some numerous updates to the beta, I'll try to get that up in the next week
Probably not this year, unless someone really wants to help add and polish new abilities for the new sides. I only have one week vacation and I'm not going to spend it coding :)
This is the fix if you're using 1.0E (not the beta): here Don't send us the minidumps - there is nothing we can do with them
Well you can always play on smaller maps. Of course, you can always make your own too. I'm sure people can share what maps they like. However, the mod isn't meant for a quick game - this isn't Starcraft :)
I don't know why it won't disable. Might just have to change the text in the Enabled Mods file
No, there are frequent TortoiseSVN updates but they aren't necessary to download the mod files.
Shiner, EvilleJedi generally allows use of his models with the proper credit. I would ask him directly though, I doubt he'd say no. Too busy to create another mod. I think once it gets released, there will be a good amount of modders. Perhaps there will be a SW project. I don't think we'll tackle it though wbino - thanks for the support. Please signup here . No - but if anyone wants to try, we'll certainly welcome it
