Blue icon in top left corner -> preferences -> show pre-release versions. Still in beta.

I was thinking about some of the old screenshots like this , and was wondering if it will (or could) be possible to add names or labels to the cloth map. Would be great to be able to be able to 'fill in' the cloth map as you explore more. Sending your armies through that mountain pass over there is nowhere near as cool as sending you
Read some of Froggie's posts. Especially the bit about the Sins and GalCiv betas. Also remember that it was originally going to be released last February and they held it back to do more beta testing ie they could have released it then if they wanted to.
Put the option in beta 3 and we can try it out and see what is better.
I believe it is just a superficial 'ruined castle'
Premiership footballer (or soccer player if you insist)
On time, not sooner than expected. In fact it was originally going to come out last February, that article is from January saying 'sorry, it's going to be late'
Entered tile for second witch's hut and it CTDed without any error message. Debug attached, on copypastecode.com as pastebin was being fail.
Not long ago he said they were ahead of schedule. We will see...
of course they will have elves, come on, it's pretty much a rule.
cough cough Harry Potter
The ages thing probably needs sorting though, is very weird.
Crying out to be built by pioneers. Perhaps they could be built in stages (improved and all that), and maybe imbued with magical defenses by a sovereign.
I wouldn't recommend 'doing a Targaryen'
The gameplay is spectacularly meh at the moment, what with magic disabled, diplomacy disabled, quests at basic level, barely functional AI, etc, etc. But you'd be surprised what can be achieved in two months.
The archiving techs don't seem to give you much research for 4 tile stuff. How about, since these tech are being rediscovered, you have some buildings that increase the likelihood of getting the rarer techs?
The original purpose of cheats is to help with testing - you can try late game stuff without going all the way through the game. So I would expect cheats - they've been in since beta 1
My download isn't working [e digicons]:([/e] it's stuck on 'verifying'. Help please [e digicons]:'([/e]
It's on YouTube I believe.
When it comes to the really uber big spells like volcano, it would be unbelievably frustrating if your prized capital was destroyed by a sneaky opponent when you are steamrollering elsewhere. Are there going to be methods of dispersing magic? I mean there's not much point in big armies if they're just going to get shoved a volcano you know where. Perhaps sovreigns (and maybe imbued heroes) could have the ability to prevent the really big spells wihin a small
He is one wierd guy... he winds people up as Hortz, says he will return for another look nearer release, then posts a 'review' which is basically an ill-informed rant a la his original stuff. And he's the one complaining about despicable behaviour.
Posting 'reviews' based on videos is unproffesional and inappropriate (and somewhat unfair to the devs). Froggie was just repaying the compliment.
If you'd bothered to look up Stardock, you'll find that they have probably the best copy protection policy of any major company. Buy it from the shop = no copy protection.
In future can you post bug files to pastebin.com and link to them? Long posts tend to crash the forums.
We must henceforth refer to him as Sir Captain Picard.
Email to ask although I suspect someone official will probably answer on this thread.
