Vicious can get pretty insane. Very much enjoying playing against it and usually losing. Unfair is no challenge anymore. :P

If you play a fair bit then yes, you should be able to afford a PLEX for the second month. Will be a lot of penny pinching, though.

You can't make enough money during the trial for a PLEX. Game Time Codes are also sold legit for in-game money, but you have to use the forums and the secure GTC trading system in Account Management for that, not the in-game market. GTCs however can upgrade a trial account to a full paying one.

Hi there, Quinn! Always a pleasure to meet an Ironcladian. :) The company definitely has very talented folks who like their jobs to put out quality products. Over the two and a half years I've been in the community (started in the middle of the original Sins' beta test), I've gotten to know a fair number of folks at Ironclad and they're all upstanding and great people. My envy aside, congrats on landing the job ;) Your Vasari looks great. Were you influenced by the Dead Space

You need to have registered your key before you can download them from Anywhere. It only shows games/apps that are registered to your account. I've never installed off it, but I don't think you need your key after it's registered to your account.
Is an Internet-Connection required to activate the game?
No, but it is generally required to patch the game on each PC unless you install a pre-patched archive from http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com . The game does not have online activation off the disk, it's a voluntary CD key registration to your Impulse/SD account to allow you to get the latest updates and re-download the game whenever you like from Impulse/Impulse Anyw

Go back to user.setting and at the bottom set showErrors to TRUE. Try enabling the mod again and when it minidumps it should show which line in which file is causing it :)

The V and B keys control zoom, and you can also use Z/X/C keys for preset zoom levels.

There are two things you can try to do: 1) Make sure user.setting (or diplomacy.user if you're running the Diplo beta) is not set to read only (right click > properties). Then try changing the settings ingame again and see if they save. 2) Manually edit user.setting: TextureQualityForShipColor 3 TextureQualityForShipData 3 TextureQualityForShipBump 3 TextureQualityForModuleColor 3 TextureQualityForModuleData 3 TextureQualityForModuleBump 3<b

You can also use tab and shift+tab to go forward and backward through all the chats/whispers after you press enter, it types out the prefixes for you.

Are you sure you logged into Impulse with the same account? The registration key is associated with your email address/account, so logging in with it should list Entrenchment in My Games.

Each artifact has its own entity file and uses a researchModifier to add the effect. For example, in RESEARCHSUBJECT_ARTIFACT_WEAPONBOOST you'll see the following: researchModifier modifierType "WeaponDamageAdjustment" baseValue 0.000000 perLevelValue 0.120000 linkedWeaponClass "Invalid" Which basically says it increases damage by 12% (all percent values are in decimals in the files

To watch a replay you have to put the file in the appropriate folder in your Sins user path (C:\Users\youruser\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire). There are folders for SP/MP autorecords, and SP/MP manual records. Put the file in the proper folder, launch the game, go to Single Player > Watch and pick the replay (same as the file name). Note that your game's version needs to match the version the replay was recorded on - the replay file is basically a collection o

Of course it's not as fun when the node crashes. Dominion made it worse. 49- crashed on Saturday night and Sunday night with ~1100 people in system. Meh. :P
