Sounds great. I was actually looking for Starcraft 2 players on here. Thought I could get acquainted and maybe play a game or 2 and ever learn from their experience with the game.
I'm a player in the sense that I have the game :P I really *want* to get into it and actually play it on the ladder because I love the game, but I never felt quite at home with 1v1 RTS games and I work during the day which really wouldn't leave me

I don't think you can make a logical link between collective consciousness and mind control. The two are totally different. The Founders in Star Trek were a collective consciousness, but there was no mind control.
Also, given the age of the current engine, I would be willing to bet a large sum of money that after their next game (another 1-2 years maybe?), they'd actually have to make another new engine for Sins 2. It'll be a while.
So, once again we have a situation where it might make more sense to spend your money on one real nice video card instead of two lesser cards for SLI...
Certainly. Video cards are advancing much faster than engine tech (which is actually backpedaling now due to more FPS games being cross-platform). I can still run everything I've tried on a single 285 at 1980x1024, usually with most settings max/near max, with good FPS. A card that's not several years old like t
2. Why are you using 2 antivirals/trojan/malware/rootkit? They can conflict and cause problems. General answer: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/protect_start/mse-other-anti-malware-spyware-programs/81b25b88-6097-46b7-984a-73e09be3d99a
Just to clarify this one. Usi
That's actually a valid suggestion. I have a pair of GTX 285s too, and whenever I turn on SLI, even with the latest drivers, I usually see a drop in performance in any game.
They were never modeled or implemented.
Guys, guys. The stuff chasing the Vasari are obviously Reapers.
The TEC starbase can already manufacture, I don't think it makes a whole lot of sense to give them another capital ship that can do it too. It works once, but the second time is like "Well.. couldn't they think of something else?"
Multiple times. The zombie horse has been beaten repeatedly.
Yeah, if there's one thing about Steam is that it gets some crazy good deals because they can move huge volumes of stuff.
It's a full expansion, not a micro. More features and toys.
Once you start throwing around words like discriminate, you're definitely trolling. I'm left handed but I certainly don't feel discriminated against. You can stop being such a drama queen, now.
Which can also be modified.
And none of it is going to happen for Rebellion. :P
I will not deny that such changes may be difficult...but if SD was not concerned about improving their game why the hell even bother with v1.2? Why have devs participate on these forums? We are talking about things that may appear in an expansion (which has hyped up to be bigger than entrenchment)...
Like I said before, it comes down to effort vs payback. They needed to do 1.2 to get the memory usage down so that they can actually do Rebellion, otherwise the

To be fair, if there's one thing that is very likely is that GS has a much, much smaller chance of going belly-up than SD. They make insane profits with the console game resales, and that's not going to change.
Pirates could easily be considered "trivial" since hardly any MP game has them and many SP games have them turned off...yet they got a pretty big overhaul in the last update (new entity files, new lines added in Gameplay.constants, etc.)...many other changes to specific abilities (missile barrage range decrease, better GRG, better Guidance, etc) are trivial, yet demonstrate Stardock's attention to quality and responsiveness to the community...
Again, you're miss
Uhm...if it weren't for the fact that they're making an expansion pack, none of the recent updates would have been "worth doing"...they already have our money, where's the incentive to continually make updates after the first couple months? There is none....unless you just care about making a good game...
What relevance does this have to anything? Every project has deadlines and a budget. It took a long time in the original Sins
Betting they haven't modeled the titans yet, so you'd get a screenshot of empty space.
Nah, I bet it's nearly done and we should get a beta within a week or two. ;)
What if they'd sold it to Microsoft to merge into GFWL? Or Valve, to poach the users for Steam? It can always be worse.
Both of those would be preferrable to me over GS, even though Valve isn't a realistic scenario. MS is much more realistic. There is nothing inherently bad about GFWL. It started as terrible as Steam, but it improved considerably. In DoW2 it still was iffy and ultimately Steamworks proved better - but at least with that MS showed a willingness t
I think you might have gotten taken up on that offer.
