i have them all set to aggressive, none of them are on random, all of them are on same team and locked there, fleets are on as big as they can go, im currently playing a game against nine very hard ai, all of them allied, i grabbed a planet and built a ton of defenses on it and now none of them approach it ever, ill post a screenshot for you to see the multistar approach dosent seem to work too well, once you find yourself a planet inside the new system you can just park there, build
i miss the system in beta were fleet upkeep was on a per planet basis

the ai in my current game are terrible, they attack me a few times early game, but the moment i build defenses on my outer worlds, they no longer attack at all.... they just stand a massive fleet outside my border forever! this is really annoying, and it kills the game completely in before play online*

very nice danman, i cant wait to fire up the mod once again in entrenchment
its not really complicated as it is rough, its got alot of things about it that will make you rage quit, i cant even play the game anymore without the cheat script activated, and its not for cheating its just for general roughness that i have to deal with constantly, like ships flying into gates and not through for one.

sometimes the ai surrenders and you dont get any messages, one time i had a whole chain surrender and i dident realize it for hours till i went to the diplomacy screen and saw broken glass everywhere. i dunno if this has been fixed or not tho, i havent had many games lately that went to the end

are the abilitys on planets right now temporary or are you going to give them a little more oomph in the future?
is it possible to make it so that all the ships have a base of like 0 speed, and give them an ability that increases their speed by a certain amount over a period of time? it would make antimatter a fuel source, and you could redesign antimatter recharge into other methods, like giving all ships a base of 0 antimatter recharge and giving a fuel ship an ability that recharges antimatter on nearby ships
