The Vasari starbase sounds deadly. Also, about the Antorak Marauder, I haven't played with Vasari in a while and am planning to play with them tonight (game already started) and it should be a quick one but each time I used the phase stabilizer on it, it would stop but I just clicked it once to where I wanted it to go and even though it says the ability is gone and it shows the blue line going the long way, as long as I didn't touch it, it would jump with the fleet through the short c

I don't consider myself good or anything....but you are countering the carriers and ignoring their payload, strikecraft, so the way I see it of course you were going to lose. I mean, I know people say flak ships suck but I always keep a bit in my fleet and hope they are doing their job.

I am doing this right now for TEC and I FORCED myself to get the two Sovas...first off, Sova was my second cap because I needed strikecraft (I would normally go Kol but I wanted to give it a chance) after the AI already had some AND for most of the game I tried not to use missile barrage just to see how long I could go without using it. Its easy during the early to mid game because not too many other little ships that couldn't be handled easily but not so much in the late game. I

The Sova is not one I like too much but both the Halcyon and Skiranta are very useful. They Halcyon has an ability called telekenetic push that and really mess up your strike craft but even better has a passive ability that reduces cooldown of all energy based weapons; those are the two most notable abilities of the Halcyon. The Skiranta's top ability is the repair cloud, within a area around it it can repair hull for 10 seconds, it is the best repair out there because it doesn't

I actually think the need of reissuing of orders after a stunning ability was intented...I don't remember where I read it but I think I remember reading it...still, don't quote me on that.

Cielo is a support ship that has two abilities, one is Embolden that restores shields at 2.5 a second and reduces weapon cooldown. Its second ability is better in that it causes the enemy to take much more damage when attacked but it costs a lot to activate that one...still, its great.

For the strike craft, it seems they are chasing the enemy, assume blue is your enemy. For the factory, I assume you have three factories on that planet because thats how it usually happens with me...if I have three facetories on a planet and set up say 9 ships to be made, most of them will show up out of just one factory.

If you can use the abilities to their best potentail (e.g. advent holy trinity) you can turn any battle!
Vasari carriers, Skirantra's. are mobile repair bays and once lvl 6 can replicate ships, then there mobile factories as well. A few of these get really really nasty in a vasari fleet. Aside from the natural synergy of the advent ships it's probably the coolest cap in the game, though scramble bombers is pretty worthless.
Wait, doesn't the ships that were replicated eventually wear out or are they there until they ge
I think what you're talking about are the pirates defaulting to attack you when no bounty exists, right? Well one, yes, it seems it ALWAYS defaults to me, not another AI. But on the other hand, if the pirates aren't attacking them, why would they spend money on it to make them attack someone else?
Exactly, I am talking about a the PIRATES DEFAULTING to attack me when NO BOUNTY EXISTS. So, I am currently playing a 6 way FFA and at first the computers put money on the pirate raids and I ignored them. At first the money was being put on me so they went to me but after a while the money went away and then the computer didn't put any more money either so i assumed it would randomly pick between the six of us...nope, so far, the pirate raids keep coming at me and seems like only me. So, isn't there suppose to be a random chance for them to go to the others??

Reply to Hoshiko's in Strategy

No, it did in one update but it was an error, they aren't suppose to stack but if you have a repair structure and hoshiko working on the same ship, the repair can go up to 60 per second.

Alright, I was watching a replay just to see if I could get any screenshots since all the ones I've ever gotten before was during play and now I'm wishing there was a rewind button on the replay. So all the starbases have this ability were any enemy ships leaving the gravity well it occupies will suffer 30% hull damage and 100% antimatter loss. So, jumping in is no problem, jumping out is.

Hmm, I was notcing something like this with TEC...I woud have a starbase and it would start firing at the seige frigates but then the rest ofthe fleet arrive and it wasn't really using its beam weapons until i make it target the fleet and then it would fire normally and then i make it start the seige frigate again and it fired at both like it should.

So, from the records I can see I was playing for around an hour and 10 minutes and about that time I get the mini dump error and have to close everything. Everything was running smoothly, the game wasn't slowing down at all so I don't think it was because of the graphics so I don't know what happen.

I think the new sound is great for the light and regular autocannons but I say the ones with heavy autocannons, i.e.: Kodiak, Akkan, should keep the old sound to make that attack sound stronger.

Yeah, the Repair platform ignores the construction frigates, I don't know why but after getting over being annoyed, I think its good because during a battle I rather it start repairing my other ships and structures intead of wasting time and antimatter on constructors and once the battle is over, I can just do it manually.

I don't know where else this should go, so its going here. I like seeing some shots of the game and I decided I should take some screen shots mine and others should post some too. I don't know if anyone else would like to see but heres one I just took that I liked cause its of my fully upgraded SB:

This fix has been suggested by IC (the Entrenchment beta is currently not very optimized so there are memory issues) and works for those affected by it. No guarantee that it's the cause of your guys' crashes, but it's worth a try.
So far this seems to be working great now AND now the mines don't fl
