Well, from the looks of it, the game is always going to require steam, even if you purchase it elsewhere. Now I just have to decide whether to ask for a refund or not.

So I didn't search the forums at all, sorry about that but I rather just do it this way. I'm wondering about the map creator, i took a quick glance at it and I have a question about how far you can go with it. I had the urge to make up scenarios, where you start out with certain ships and with a map is that shaped a certain way and even start out with certain techs. Is it possible to do that?

So this is likely never to happen, but here are some thoughts I was having after reading some recent threads. I really want to be able to personalize my race more. My thoughts first started out with diplomacy and how I didn't know how some things were decided if you were in the red or green with another race so for that maybe we could make through our player setup certain things about us BUT this is optional. How much would it cost to utilize carrier caps instead of carrier cruisers? I am wondering if it would be worth it since a carry cap gets abilities and can fight, thoughts?

I had a problem when I would double click it to start the game it would stay black, the problem for me was that my firewall stopped the game from going and was asking for permission to allow it to play so maybe check your virus scan and firewall...who knows.

I thought they had it...you know "Customers of Size" have to buy an extra seat if they cannot put down the arm thing...I think thats how they tell, if you can't put down your armrest, you need to buy another seat.

Maybe, I didn't really read what was being said here, just the part about the 85%. I would think it does 30% of ht e85% increase, so it would be like 110.5. Or, when its 43, it could be 55.9...wow, its not that good...but better than nothing.

Now that I've had a bit of time to think more about the idea instead of explaining it, lol, I thought of a different way to change things. Of course all these changes are only for capital ships but I've thought how each weapon can act differently or how it could work for race. You want to read this line int he change log: Carrier's squadron buildrate penalty with enemy units in the gravity well reduced from 25% to 15%. So, in the gravity well, it is has a penality of 15% which means it is doing 85% its normal. Wait, I'm not too sure but I thought the penalty in game was very stupidly shown and it was reverse of what everyone is use to. Meaning, that 85% wasn't the penalty but the actual rate...so not - 85% but -15% to end up with 85% build rate when enemies in gravity well and like 43% when you under fire. I can find a link if neeed.

I don't know how this was so messed up because i never talked about reducing damage, perhaps I wasn't clear enough. I'm not talking about aiming, I guess that could be confusing. I am talking about something that the starbases have, they can have like one bank attack more than one target at the same time and then can even have that upgraded so that one bank can target and attack even more ships at the same time. So, I know a capital ship can have multiple targets but I am suggesting that its banks can eventually have two targets each. So, for example, the Kol's bean can only attack one sh

I don't think capital ships have this, but I think they should get that starbase thing where turrents can have multiple targets. I was thinking this should help capital ships be better later in the game. It could work in two ways: 1. Every level after level 6 (7, 8, 9, 10) the capital ship gets 1/4 of its turrents able to fire at two targets instead of one so once it reaches level 10 all its weapons can targer two instead of just one. 2.
