You need Entrenchment 1.041, there is actully a differnce.

actully, using "SpawnShipsAtPlanet" for multiple types of ships wouldn't be to bad..as Terrzeil pointed out. Yea..that NVAM ability was an ability I desined to COMBINE four specific ships into one ship.
At one point in time, me and shadowmastiff were planning to make a mod that introduced a campain. But we never got around to it.
Thanks! Ryat- it was made by Thoumsen (fileosoft). I'm sure he'll let you use it if you ask nicley.
Oops!! Sorry about that Link is now fixed!
I am finaly releasing my Tri-Pirate Mod, beta Three. For Entrenchement 1.041 http://www.mediafire.com/?az4mgo2xzdm My Pirate Mod started out as an attempt to weld the Pirates into a Unique playable civilization. With a quality that rivals the original game, and a completly new way to handle the econo
Which raises the whole argument of psychic physics.
Let's not get into psychic physics. We don't even know how the brain works. How can we begin to speculate on how to control it?
Becouse there is the possibility of figuring this one out.
Volt- I highly doubt the EmDrive's credibility, as from what you describe, it would be a reactionless drive in a closed system. Which violates pretty much every single law of physics, from Thermodynamics to Relativity. Note that Solar Sails, Magnetic Sails, and M2P2, which carry no reaction mass, are actually open systems, as such they do not v
BOTH!! Tools AND AI!! then I can give my Pirate civilization a decent AI. Which would be awsome.
Perhaps the shape has something to do with the Drive.... I actully Havn't heard of the EMdrive, I'll look into....maby build one if it isn't too hard.....If it is hard, convince someone else to build it... EDIT: Looked at picture. To hard for anyone I know of to build one....engeneering probably needs to be too precise.
The recoil from a rail gun is the same as any other recoil. It COULD be countered by the engines. (which would explain why they are there, as the thing doesn't move). But if all the energy came from that initial acceleration, the stresses would be ENORMOUS! Worse than the stresses applied to the planet when the shot hits it. (Becouse now you have the added energy of the engines) Yes, I built a simple rail gun. THough my engineering skills wern't precise
Problem with using a normal projectile, firing at .99 C the speed of light, according to newtons laws, all the energy that goes into the proctile, goes into the cannon itself. AKA- that is one large recoil! what is a normal projectile? do you mean like a railgun slug? because there is no recoil from magnetic weapons.
BS. reaserch basic newtonian mechanic
I do not belive this is possible.
Problem with using a normal projectile, firing at .99 C the speed of light, according to newtons laws, all the energy that goes into the proctile, goes into the cannon itself. AKA- that is one large recoil! Again, I am pretty sure the novalith is a missile. Which would explain why it is on the end of the missile reaserch tree. Anubis-Come back alive to what? no one has posted on the RG forums for who knows how long. Even if someone does, a few posts per
Tri-Pirate Mod!! (Beta will be released soon!)
Yes, you are warned of incoming slugs. The way the game explains the Novalith, is essently, a Giant Phase Missile. 1. It is a missile, though the explosion on launch indicates it may have an initial push to help. But the in-game descriptions describe it clearly as a missile. 2. It is in phase space. It is detectable, but an object in phase space cannot interact with other objects. Thus defense/atmostphere are moot. 3. It might be a nuclear warhead, but it
not sure, "Out of Range" has always worked for me. Does it apply when RIGHT on the line of being in range, then the ships move a little? Maby it has to do with the "Apply Buff to target No filter NO RANGE" Admitidly that seems strange due to the range being set by the ability, but it is possible.
wait...let me get this strieght. you never knew you could zoom or rotate the camera?
Homeworld is the greatist RTS of all time! It had a very good multiplayer base. The campain had better plot than most movies. (Game version of Lord of The Rings, in terms of epicness) It was perfectly ballanced, it did NOT use the rock/paper/scissors type ballance that sins does. Which makes tactics MUCH more interesting. Game was very simple, only had one type of reasource. Yet the tactics were AMAZINGLY complex and deep. Becouse the Uni
I sugest you read the modding documentation that is included with the Ironclad tools.
Yes. That line can be used on anything that is ownable. I even have a version of it that can steal a planet.
Look at the like "Channeling" line. If a buff is channelling, then that means it will cause the ship to stop moving and firing. So if you DON'T want it, set channeling to false.
Not possible. Only way to travel between planets in Sins is to use the Phase Lanes. No way to change that.
Yes, I am extremly curious. Did you actully figure out a way to improve the AI? Or did you just allow them to cheat a little?
Now what your talking about it completly differnt. You want to make an ability that tagets multiple units? That is easy. Instead of "ApplyBuffToTargetInRange" Use "ApplyBuffToTargetsInRange" Note how it is plural. For an example, look at ANY AOE ability. Missile barrage Missile Swarm The Javilis ability Radiation Bomb Armisitice Targeting Uplink Just to name a few. Just use th
