I know Stress, I have actually seen the different maps, all of which just make my head go through loops [e digicons]x_x[/e] .
I'll have to be honest, I made that map very quickly and put little thought into the names. I choose famous and recognisable planets (whom incidently all seem to be m-class planets) to fill up name slots. I found it very hard to find specific information concerning volcanic or desert planets without having excellent knowledge of star trek or astronomy, which I don't have. I really wanted to make it feel like the 'allies' were holding the line at wol
Scope, another option could be to set your fleet size to Large. Though the fleet supply amount in game will say one thing, you will have a larger amount than what it says you are researching. Also, I don't know if you'll be able to read this Zonek, but I like the new Wolf 359 map. I do have a couple questions for you. You have Risa as a Class F (volcanic) slag heap, and Betazed is a desert world,

A good defragging couldn't hurt either. Suggest using Piriform's defraggler (better than Window's crap).
Regarding the Borg, I think the reason they don't take asteroid fields is because they have no ships that can do so. At least, not as far as I could see from playing as them. The only way to do it is by building a unicomplex near them and upgrading it to have the assimilation ability. But even then, you don't gain any income from them, so taking them is moot except for the purpose of depriving the enemy of them.
Jtaylorpcs is righ
BTW... (The Tactical Cube can bomb planets) Yes, but that's the very last thing you get, at the very end of a long upgrade tree. So basically, until I get a Tac cube (when and if), I'm stuck with taking up valuable fleet space with some planet pounders. To even THINK about getting a Tac cube you need to basically dominate the map, and you can't take over planets without a small group of planet bombers.<br
Actually, to be "perfectly cannon", Romulans don't use fighters.
I hate to say it, but in the following of all sci-fi series, anything that is in the movies/T.V. series is considered 100% cannon, everything else (books, comics/graphic novels, video games) is either considered semi or non-cannon. @just_jim- Although maybe cool to watch, not very practical since we cannot recreate the abilities to destroy planets (at best the Scimitars "Thalaron Radiation" emmiters would be easier, since the ability would just do MASSIVE planetary pop damage), but would anyone want to be on the receiving end of something like that? I dunno about you, but no other faction has any weapons that are comparable to that.
@Strikestorm49- Besides the fact that it is a REMAN ship, it was an only prototype with massive firepower and planet destroying technology. Yeah, THAT would be perfect for this mod (along with Species 8472 death star abilities) [e digicons][/e] . <p
As far as I can tell Vulture, this is a problem with the Sins engine A.I., which makes it not the modders fault/perrogative to fix since it is hard-coded. The best answer I can give you is to wait for the release of Diplomacy's version, since Diplomacy has many more difficulty settings (three higher difficutly tiers if I remember right). On a different note, I just came from the moddb mod of the year awards ( GOD I can remember when Stress used to
