So far i am not too impressed with Diplomacy. Not that it is a bad expansion. It has its good points, but not enough right now IMO to waste another 6 months porting over the mod. I may "delegate" some authority to a 3rd party if there is enough interest in a Diplomacy port. For right now we are staying focused on Entrenchment.
I hear ya Stress. I pre-ordered my copy, and this preview so far does not bring much to the g

It is not going to look exactly like the picture because i am gonna use my own artistic licence with it but the general idea is there for a Romulan Starbase. Just remember what i said.. Old, Industrial with Imperial Ornimentation, and "Green Gothic" Dont remember if this pic was posted before, but here is the 1st scetch of the SoA 2 Romulan starbase. With NO FREAKING BIRD BEAKS!<

It is pretty simple really. there will be a team meeting on saturday. time TBA. BTW i was wrong about the 2 gig bug. i re-installed sins, and it went away :/
Yay about there being no 2 gig bug, and I will try my hardest for saturday but I work 1800-0015.

This is great stuff wraith. I remember when Homeworld came out, I was actually someone who bought it before they released the game of the year edition [e digicons][/e] . Heck, I still have my games and all of the instruction manuals. One quick question, is Cataclysm available for use in this mod? I simply ask, because the turanic raiders would be the perfect faction for the Pirates (I know they were in the original game, but Cataclysm also has their pirate bas
I am with you guys for scaling down the space station, but the ships are going to be a little more obvious. A half size cube would make the all of the other federation ships seem that much larger, and that kinda defeats the purpose. In the end, the stations should be somewhere around the same size as each other (ergo, klingon space station and fed station should be about the same size, no matter what), otherwise you run into the problem that one races advantage is that it's stat

Well, I am glad you got what I was striving to say Ryugi, I just wanna cut back on useless chatter over the same subjects (people pro and con for this debate are basically reciting the same arguments with very similar evidence to support. If the modders at least had a graph to show how the community felt, they could at least see what popular opinion was). Well, I guess as long as I am one of the minority just tired of seeing the same endless debate I won't tell you guys to stop (and apperantly it is making a bigger impression than I thought [e digicons]o_O[/e] ). I think we should do it more democratically and perhaps put it to a poll to see who votes pro or con though and save all these pages (or maybe start another thread with this discussion specifically). Since this topic is still open than, I will have to throw my lot in wi
