a general balance proposal: increase the shield restore rate of vessels out of combat, somtimes it is very annoying just to wait and slowly watch 10k shields restore
Actually, a lot of races have capitols that restore shields to their respective fleets, so have shields recoup quickly might not be the best of answers. First off, let me say to Jtaylor and team . . . WOW! You g

Yeah, I had tried everything like that Jtaylor, but none of that worked (I even tried installing it to the original 1.041 mods and i

Thanks Mystic. Alright fella's, I have bad news. I have downloaded the installer 3 seperate times now and each time I have tried to install it, it comes back with an error saying: the cabinet file 'disk1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package Is there any way that you could post a .zip version like you used to (never had trouble instal
My original plan was to have 2 NPC factions. One for the Pirates. One for the planetary defenders. Pirates obviously have to be Orion. The Defenders will be a "ship of the week" faction with Talarion, Sona, Bajoren, Ferrengi, Maquis, etc. etc. You get my drift.
I totally agree, and I think you have the right idea Stress.
about 25 mins in, my allie borg have not built a single ship
I played a game as a romulan with all races and set to FFA. The borg I fought there had almost taken over the 55 planet size medium map, so I have no clue what you are talking about. You need to set your ally to aggressive mode, and then watch out!

Great work on the mod Jtaylor, Stress, Dragoon, Loki, and all that I have forgotten to mention. I just finished my first game and am in awe of all the new changes that have occured since when I last tested for you. This is by far the best Star Trek game in at least a decade (the last great one was BotF IMO), and I can't speak enough words on how much more content has gone in recently. You know, the little things you don't think about (such as the different c
Besides, the Nor type stations were ore refineries and troop garrisons. They weren't meant to be defensive structures. DS9 was only modified for that role out of necessity. I suppose, if you wanted to be super super canon, the case could be made that it would be more accurate for Nors to fill the Ore Processor (or whatever) slot. Although it would kind of be a shame to see such a well known, well designed station have suc

Personally Stress, I have no clue which one to choose, so I am ok with whatever you have in mind [e digicons][/e] . I do think that it should be an older era ship (kinda like the idea is to show good faith in the fact that you aren't going to try and blow the frak up out of your enemy), so Oberth should be ok. On the other hand, have you got any ideas which fed ships to use for the two different kinds of trade ships?
