And banning Scientology is just taking a step back to Nazism, in a way, since Hitler banned all Christianity but his own church, which fully supported anything he wanted, of course. This time it is just one kind of church they've banned--the question is where they will stop banning churches and other ideologies.
Scientology is not a church, it's a money-making scheme.
Ok, last thing I can think of: Did you have a material selected in the list? I'll have to add one selected by default I guess. Much more user friendly .
I didn't see anything in the materials box..?
Edit: Wow for some reason save seems to be completly non functional when I use the program that's been installed via the installer.. That's kind of embarassing, oh well, shouldn't be too hard to fix but I'll do to that tommorow night, it's kinda late now.
K.
Oh yeah about the data thing, doesn't checking the data check box enable the browse button? Or do you mean having selected the texture you can't see it on the scree

I did. None of the three browse boxes work - clicking does nothing. The checkboxes work, however. edit: minor bug as well - the top of the window is offscreen when I boot it up, have to click the side and drag a bit to make a bit of the bar visible to drag it down. running 1440x900 res, so that's probably what's wrong edit2: also, saving the model as a .mesh doesn't output anything. have tried multiple times in many directories.

The data texture ... browse button thing doesn't work. I have a dds and a 3ds file ready to go, have imported the 3ds file, and can't import the dds.

I suspect the main mechanism would be punctures in lung tissue and eventual death from asphyxiation. Essentially, a frag grenade to your lungs.
Any religion that can't laugh at itself, is in serious need of help.
Zen Buddhism is pretty much based on mocking itself, killing the Buddha in the street and burning the statues and making fun of its own ko'ans and such. It's hilarious.

Yeah, we don't have any neutron bombs, they were all decommissioned - that was my point

If you're not having any shields you can convert the shield damage to "armor", make the hull the underlying "if this is breached people start getting sucked out the corridors", buff the armor and make it non-regenerative, and nerf the hull down to very little. This is what DoV is doing, and it's not only more realistic but encourages repair ships and more tactical use of your ships. May not be good for more macro-level mods, but for micro "every battle matters" mods it's awesome.
lol, paint it transparent, think about htat for a sec
Wouldn't really work - there was a thread a while back showing that filling the channel with the 'transparency' texture only makes it look white and glowy like a ghost ship. Also, it'd most likely only work for you - unless there's some sort of autodownload thi
well then the plasma will do its damage, just more shotgun style
If it was scattered - no. Unless your hull is made of paper, only a smaller more dense blob of plasma would be enough to rip through a hull. Plasma is superheated gas - it will float around and disperse, and while it will conserve momentum minus friction, it won't be terribly useful just bouncing off the hull if it's not all in one package.
Plasma dissipates rapidly does it not?
not when you have a projectile in the middle with a magnetic field generator of course all the other ship would have to do is have magnetic plating or a giant electromagnet on the hull to weaken the field and poof your plasma is scattered all over.
and Nvidia does absolutely nothing about it thats F'in great and unfortunately something that is cheap for you guys costs me an arm and a leg.
Of course nvidia does nothing, you bought the cheapest card ever and want a 2007 game to run on it. 6600GTs are about $40 on eBay, that is not an "arm and a leg" - don't exaggerate.

You're running one outdated system there.. I'd suggest running it in DX8 mode but I dunno if SoaSE even supports DX8. And I haven't got a real 'blue screen' in years. If you're getting real blue-screen errors in XP, something is seriously wrong.

All this talk of stereotypes and cannons and such has neglected the fact that we needed to construct additional pylons about two hours ago and are out of vespene gas.
