nice, guess i learned a few things myself (was wrong about the planet-value not being calculated in... there used 2 be a wonderfull site which explained the trade-port system in detail with pictures and all the concept of trade-port-chaining is very simple, you only need to see a picture with explenation once i will search for a link and try adding it here, and on the FAQ Fou

im not so sure actually, just 2 games ago i was in a fierce 1v1 battle with both of us having just our homeworld left, i only had 2 militry labs left, so all i could build were LRF's and flaks, i had 20 hoshiko's with the demolition-bots upgrade enabled, so i asked myself the same think you ask here, so i checked my hoshiko's and the demolition-bots ability was still active</p
so i've noticed that any game i join online always has the game run into turbo-mode for 15 or so min, i also noticed that whenever i i host game, turbo-mode never occurs, alot of people thus ask me @ start "are you settings put to fast???" well yes, they are, everything put 2 fastest etc. but it does make me wonder, why do games i create never have this "turbo" at the start </
thee longer the trade chain the more profit you get from trading lets say, you control all planets of 1 solar system instead of building tradeports on every planet, you should carefully search for the longest possible route (without breaking it) the hard part is making routes without breaking chains you break a chain if you place a tradeport next to an existing trade-lane and that extra trade-port would shorten the lane </
[quote who="InfiniteVoid" reply="1" id="2101125"]Battleships arguably have the best survivability of their respective factions' capitals in both abilities (Kol has Finest Hour and Adaptive Forcefield, Radiance has Energy Absorptive Armor, and Kortul has Power Surge) and armor (which can be four points higher than any other capital). Their endurance is usually further increased by abilities of supportive capitals (Vasari seems to get the shorter end of the stick in this respect - its either Re
hmm i'll stick to my regular, why compare they're both great story's superweapons... Deathstar vs Halo (y the giant ring that kills Flood food.. me etc) becuase the halo kills all life in the (universe :/?) halo wins here... (poor lonely droids all alone) +1 halo) star destroyers r pretty powerfull ships, not to mention the Super star destroyer they'll probably rip th
life outside of earth exists, the chances for atleast 1 other lifeform to exist (bacterial or intelligent) is closer to infinite then one can comprehend just a curious thought: some peopel insist that they have seen aliens.. some... rare cases even believe they have been abducted by aliens and even more rare cases of people that imply to have a alien husband and children somewhere out there in the universe (lol) now i dont wanna sp

personally i'd like the game closer to balanced b4 a match like this can be made official... but since that'll not happen for a while... why not map should be pre-set no randoms 2 prevent lame planet distribution lame militia and extr setup will remain problem this is going to be one well-loved replay though..... one wich i'll never look at for the right reasons.... so why do the 2 only (only active anyw

Tec's way to counter MB: practically none, hoshiko's might repair alot of ship but you need ALOT of hoshiko's (about haf of yor fleet should be hoshiko) and a bunch of cielo cruisers, (if your economy allows that)to get out of MB alive, TEC has no effective way to counter MB... in turn.. it's hard to cripple all hoshiko's, so thats a + side for mass-repair... Advent way to counter MB: guardians, Progenitor mothership's
hope Will'll keep desgning games (tough not at EA) i've had fun from his games >.> i've always waited for Spore, it's pre-alpha build looked rly nice and couldnt wait for it's relase... right now all i use is spore's creator... tough i get annoyed by how little parts you can actually use b4 the game says you cant use any more....got this Akkan design... just the hull tough, it wont let me add any more parts (that means no engines, whatsoever.. just the

[quote who="ZKBarbarian" reply="14" id="2126866"]Um, has anyone ever noticed that the Marza is a "Dreadnought", which in itself states it is a more powerful ship then a Battlecruiser, Battleship or carrier...maybe I'm just silly that way, but..you think maybe it was called this for a reason? most of the responses given here should plainly be ignored as they resort to flaming (i guess they can't handle someone hating their truly imbalanced combat tactic) Marza IS unbalanced, no matter how you look at it even if it means all other ships are weak the marza remains the sole ship to stick out and = thus described as imbalanced!!! without support it can kil any lrf with its ultimate ability that is in range, meaning in huge fight&n

demo bots are a major improvement... whenever im playing tec i end up in a draw during battles.... as soon as demo bots get researched (along with antimatter upgrades) i suddenly end up barely losing ships and killing the enemy.... demo bots are a must-have abiltiy for tec tough this thread raised me a Q... what about hoshiko's repair ability, i heard it stacked.. (tough it obviously doesnt out of numerous tests)

it can get boring from time to time.. especially with the current carrier spamming always building the same ships to counter them.... every game get's the same.... only a few mods are worth having imho, bailknights graphic mod really restores some fun with laggy battles >.> others are fun in single player or with friend games.... but not nearly as great as sins vanilla (but perhaps thats just becuase it's near impossible to find oponent

The only way it can is with gradual progress, and Goo is a good step in that direction. As I said in another thread, the gamers/customers have to be willing to compromise a bit as well if we want the publishers to. Absolute idealists will never be satisfied and refuse to tolerate any
