Could you be more vague?

7600 graphics card are notorious for being crap, i think the 7600 was basically designed to be the entry level graphics card and more designed for use as a media center.
Currently the whole problems regarding LRM friagetes and spamming can be resolved by introducing a new anti-light damage ship (frigate sized) as obviously using scouts to combat LRM frigates just seems wrong. Introducing a new ship will obviously require work from IC but it seems essential that this new ship gets put into the game to help even up the game, as of right now there is nothing that effecively counter LRM or illum spam a new ship would solve this problem.
You can try enabling DMZ in your router settings.
Aye, MMORPG graphics comapred to RTS, it's common knowledge that MMO's will look better than an RTS. Normally games will flood their mmo's with pretty graphics to try and put up a smoke screen to hide the fact it's got terrible gameplay, age of conan anyone?
You can download the Stardock client and it's all setup to get onto the stardock IRC channel
You could jump on IRC maybe you can get in contact with someone who can help you out there, it's quicker and might actually get some useful help instead of some other posters in the thread. *rollseyes*
Pirates are fine to me as they are they've already been nerfed in the last patch, i don't see any real reason to nerf the again. Just have to make sure that you always have them on the enemy.
Not having a campaign shouldn't give give this game any lower of a score, it's frustrating when gamne's reviewers seem to believe that all RTS's REQUIRE a singleplayer campaign, i can guarantee that most people wont' even play the campaign these days as multi-player is far superior these days than it was 10 years ago when we had the likes of C&C etc
Theres been some talk about an interdictor ship in sins. but if one of these ships was introduced capital ships initial hitpoints would have to increase alot to balance this out, currently i'd say they die way to fast as it is and could use a hp / shield buff.
what he's suggesting is that they make a version of sins to be run on a server that a home user can setup and run, this would obviously mean that there would be considerably less lag when playing locally, he's not asking for Ironclad to run any kind of dedicated server.
still not sure whether i've watched the correct play but the first initial fight with the illuminator blob was about 60 illums, carbon jumped in his fleet in dribs and drabs and engaged like wise 1 of his caps was already down before all of his fleet was in the fight, the first 3-5 minutes of the fight carbon wasn't micromanaging his ships at all. Your research by this point was still abit screwed up you hadn't researched anything into hull repair or hull increase hit points. After your first f
Just to clarify i just watched a 5v5 replay with Carbon in it and freelancer is this the one you are talking about because i can tell you what you did wrong if this is the correct replay.
Defense is fine, your not supposed to be able to hold out against a massive fleet, thats he idea of it. If you make defence alone enough to stop a fleet from wiping out your planet what chance do people have if your fleet is also amongst your defense turrets etc.
It's been mentioned a few times but not nearly enough for such an important and easily fixable issue. Teams in teamgames need to start close together . Fixed positions, not 100% random as it is now. Many of the maps are designed with fixed positions in mind and having your teammate in another solarsystem is no fun.
Yes!!! this idea gets Twisted's seal of approval!
1) I agree with making PJI's more useful as currently i don't ever see anyone use them in multiplayer games they just serve no tactical purpse at all. A way to get around this is to either make it 2x 3x as long for ships to jump out of the gravity well and/or make it so that ships can't jump out to a connecting system owned by the player or any of their allies. 2) Remove QUIT GAME from the options menu on multi-player it's a royal pain in the arse to have to go round and
use fighters or bombers, they can't do anything to stop them. If you had him well scouted you may have had a chance to spot this massive build up before he hit you. Giving you time to build some hangers or Carriers.
Aye seems like you've really gone all out with an incompatible OS vista is bad enough but 64bit vista. As Cybermage said probably driver issues.
i'm not sure about visa electron, but i do know it only took me 10 minutes to download at 2mb/s
What model/make e.g D-link,linksys,belkin etc. They all have different user interfaces so they can make a pain to setup unless i know what kind of make i can't really help you step by step.
What kind of router do you have?
Is that a British thing?
erm...not that i know of and i'm british.
Start -My computer -local disk -documents and settings -Your user name -Application data -Ironclad games -sins of a solar empire -Screenshot it's also a hidden folder so you need to show hidden folders.
It wouldn't work for the simple matter than there are players out there that want the game to be SLOWER than it is now, this current setting caters for both kinds of player those who want to play slightly faster and slower. I do have trouble keeping up with whats going on in a 3v3 sometimes it gets a little hectic playing it on 4x the speed of how it is now would just be plain silly. I really like how laid back the game-play is i don't feel rushed into making decisions and getting my e
i bought it fine over stardock using paypal.
