I like, but the white background is indeed a bit overpowering. Available territories seem to also be clearly visible now, so i now know exactly what i need to buy trough Steam [e digicons][/e] And the settings button is no longer disguised as a logo [e digicons][/e]

In my defenses, strikecraft do most of the work (if a starbase is not present), turrets are there to protect the hangars, repair bays and tradeports. All my structures are built close to each other, so taking out the hangars requires the enemy to get in range of my turrets, and before they get anything done, my fighters have destroyed the enemy lrf's. Works pretty well against minor AI attacks and pirates, large attacks it slows down enough for my defense fleet to arrive.
Patience, the release is still far away. Though it is strange that the whole PAX thing isn't even mentioned on the news site. Then again, it has never been very up-to-date
Thanks for the info Annatar [e digicons][/e] I believe a Fraser said that pirates would also be improved on this expansion, anything on that?
Damn teaser! [e digicons]XO[/e] Oh well, back to business [e digicons]:dur:[/e] Was anything specific revealed about Diplomacy?
Yeah, well i uninstalled it right after seeing there is no SP mode on the demo. I did have fun playing botmatches in UT2004, but i'll rather have games that are focused on SP content.
As the saying goes "If it works, don't fix it"
Doesn't really apply to computers though, since you can get new features and improved performance by "fixing" it. Of course, there is a change it's broken after "fixing" it [e digicons][/e]
I regret nothing, and i have Tiberium Wars, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge, Mass Effect, Bioshock, The Witcher and even Far Cry 2. All of them are good in their own ways. Well, i do regret buying Last Action Hero for NES maybe fifteen years ago, but i blame my brother for that..
After 90 days it goes into "limited usage" mode. What does that mean, exactly? I do have an unused 80GB Harddrive in my machine, might aswell give it a try.
They shortened the name? I tried the beta when it was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I should try the demo to see if they've improved it since then.
So it must be true then, i was hoping that third expansion would be the campaign.. :( Oh well, it just means we'll get Sins 2 faster ;)
Right. Until a Fraser says it's so, it's not to be believed.
I tried to play Metroid Prime 3 on my sisters Wii, but i just can't get the hang of those the controls. So i ended up continuing my adventures in Oblivion. My Khajiit Spellsword kicks ass and looks good doing it ;)
In my view, one who is willing to sacrifice one's own life to help others, is a hero. The case in question, shooting an 18-year old person seems a bit extreme, but he was the criminal, not the victim. When you choose to break the law, you choose the consequences it will have.
Thanks, i was wondering how long i had slept when i booted my computer this morning [e digicons][/e]
There should be a hexadecimal error code on the blue screen, something like 0x001AF57C (completely made up, don't google!). Google should find a Microsoft Knowledge Base article with that code, whether that helps or not, is a different matter.

Banned for having less karma than Annatar! Whoops, there goes the community [e digicons]8O[/e]
Quoting Beric01, reply 31So how can we get into the beta? Pre-order what where when what becomes available?
Diplomacy will become pre-orderable at Impulse some point in the future. When it does, simply pre-order it, and you can download the beta version. Just a word of warning, during the Entrenchment beta, a full re-install was required after the beta ended, so if you're short on bandwidt
Someone introduced me to Universal Extractor . I love it! It extracts everything, including installers, plus, it outputs to a command prompt, which shoots the nerdiness factor way higher than any other extractor :p
The ancient 1.05 patch might be still downloadable somewhere, you could get 1.05 version by reinstalling sins and applying that patch. All patches after that have been distributed trough Impulse, so you would need to have a backup of Sins with the patch you want to play with, as they are not available anywhere.
I prefer Advent just because of how their ships look. Some of them are a bit weird looking, like the flak frigate. But the capitals, even the shoe/pepperoni, are just beatiful [e digicons]:inlove:[/e] but deadly. TEC capitals i like too. They have that heavy duty warship look, things that can take a major beating before going down. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. And Vasari ships are mostly very cool looking too. Personally i think the Vul
Yes, only when your ships or structures are destroyed by enemies does your bounty get reduces. I think enemy ship and structure infocards have their Bounty value shown. Same applies to yours, but the value is not shown. I could be mistaken though, it's been quite a while since i last played.
You can travel to other stars from the star in your system, if you have the required tech researched (long range jumps or something). There are still two full systems for you to conquer. You're not finished, you've only just begun.. [e digicons][/e]
Well, there's nothing new on that, but atleast the word is starting to spread. Looking forward to whatever is revealed on PAX :)
