Good luck with that. The GE would like to see you do well.
Thanks, and good luck to you too.
Can someone pin this thread to the top of the general category or maybe the developer journal category. It's not easy to find out the current status on things with the game when threads like this are mixed in with everything else.Disappointed that we won't see a patch before the weekend...
One thing that might help is you have a button called "My Replies". Now that you have replied to this topic you should be able to easily find it on your list. I agree though, w
Turn down the contrast Link This one was not for me, the red starts to burn through your eyes in less than 20 seconds and needs to be changed. A button needs to be added so you can sort by Ship type as well as well as race, an option to sort by DPS might not be a bad idea either. If I was about to play the game for the first time this table might be useful to me but after a few games I'd be done with it.
Good stuff. Now that you mention it, I guess the red is
The game was absolutely terrible. Did we really need to make an entire topic on it?
Man. I had tons of fun with that game. Not bad for 1998. Of course, it wasn't as fun as Pax Imperia Eminent Domain [link="http://Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain"]website[/link].
I was just remembering last night, that I played a really cool Space RTS game back in 1998 similar to Sins. Wikipedia - Star Wars Rebellion Screenshots from GamersHell
Has anyone heard of Master of Orion III?Stardock are Gods by comparison!
I was just remembering last night that I played a Galaxy-conquest RTS called Star Wars Rebellion [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Rebellion"]Star Wars Rebellion[/link]
I have a clock (cost $3.99) right beside my computer. It was an easy way to "patch" every game I have with a clock I think it's great they are putting off 1.04; I can wait a week easily if I know they are testing it. The majority of other game companies don't put off patches because they are testing them, they delay releasing them because they have 1 person working on it for months. . .
I think people want a game clock showing elapsed time. Not the time zone
lol seriously why do people keep asking for clocks.......put your own clock by the computer or a watch or a cell phone or PC alarm software or buy a damn rooster!
Not only would I like a clock, I would also like to have an OPTION for the host to end the game at a specified time (a timer) for multiplayer games. Example, during the week I only have 2 hours to play per night, so I would like to be able to host a game that ends exactly at 2 hours. If players do not
Better to wait and have the angry mobs yelling at you then releasing it too soon to make the angry mobs happy which will result in the angry mobs throwing torches through the windows.
There will be a few angry loud mouths regardless. Even if it's perfect.
Not only did you apparently not read the OP, you apparently skipped over the entire thread! Congrats to you on your lack of reading comprehensing and effort!
Did you say "Comprehensing" LOL! There is no need to read the body when there's such a tactless topic title "This game sucks". I would say the majority of us are responding to the title of his topic. Forget the body. That's like calling someone the N-word and then saying "I have lots of bl
You find more FPS players complaining about everything that killed or penalized them than in any other genre.
agree
May I ask one thing though... Any reason why someone would say I'm a fps gamer assuming I was bashing it?
I just have a personal dissatisfaction for those who choose FPS games over RTS, just like I had a dissatisfaction with the subject of your post. I see now, you're just trying to be funny. So, nevermind.
What is your MOS? Where were you in Iraq? Fallujah-OIF 5-7 FOB=Train station. MOS=0331.
Only a treasonous military person would look down upon a civilian. A true American military person would hold the civilians right to freedom of speech in the highest regard, since that is one of the things they are fighting for. Civilians have just as much a right to their opinions as do military people. Civilians serve their country in other ways by wo
To the people who came here and misunderstood, keep firing
I didn't misunderstand at all. The subject line "This Game Sucks" is offensive and tactless.
To the OP: I say good job for exposing people.
The only people he exposed are those who will come to the aid and defense of the game. Actually the name of the topic "This Game Sucks" is offensive and tactless, even if he is being sarcastically in favor of the game. That one little subject line could dissuade someone from buying the game. Say someone is interested in buying the game, he comes to the Sins forum and sees that subject line. He decides that
Kruelgor, I'll refrain from responding to your childish rudeness and just look at the facts of your post. Your response doesn't really address any of my points, and concentrates too much on what YOU think rather than what other people might think. If you'd actually understood my post, you'd see that I don't mind learning about what StarDock is up to at all - but I think the news was provided using the wrong method. -- Retro
There's plenty of relative information
I just don't see the joy in playing against an AI when you can play against real people.
Hi, Frogboy. I was disappointed to see a HUGE ADVERTISEMENT FOR A DIFFERENT GAME FROM A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GENRE on the Sins home page under "Sins News".
Why do you care sooooo much? Disappointed? Disappointed? Haaahahaaa! Haaaahaaa..lol! Disappointed....sheesh. You're actually disappointed? How much sleep have you lost over this? Hahaha! HILARIOUS! Disappointed. I am very happy they informed us about the game.
Another FPS gamer. Typical way of thinking.
You can actually capture the planet before you kill the enemy units. I do it all the time.
I rarely get the mini-dump error, but noticed I ONLY get it when: 1. I minimize the game and then maximize it. 2. Have XFIRE instant messenger running in the background. 3. I am playing against people with very good records and they are losing. Could be a hack they do. People on pc Madden Football use to do the same thing. It was a wide-spread problem.
Single player games are just plain boring to me. When I purchase a game it is a MUST that it has a lot of players online. With Sins, I never have to wait longer than a few minutes to start a game. It's great. I enjoy the thrill of playing against live human intelligence. Solitaire games are not for me. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat is just 1000% better when it's against a live human opponent. I stopped playing solitaire video games back with the ori
I really need to work on my capital ships skills because I don't use them at all except for the free one. I've been winning multiplayer games just fine without capital ships. Of course, I mostly play quick 1vs1 games which last about 2 hours.
