I wondered about how this ability actually works. Can i put 20k bounty on someone, kill all their stuff, and gain 5k?

better to justt make some flak to support your hc's. HC's basically kill everything except bombers. (which is why bombers need survivability buffed vs. flaks..) Vasari bombers for example have 140 hp. 3 per squad, IIRC. 4 flaks would in perfect conditions kill 4 vasari bombers in 6.5 seconds.(each of the 4 flak guns would be firing at one, using all their 22dps) What other unit in the game does that? I made a mod that balances it out pretty well (not perfectly, but better than 1.03 and 1.02). But uhh.. mods don't work online unless everyone downloads and enables them. This is a multiplayer issue. Imbalance doesn't effect single player as much. And balance for casual and competitive gamers is the same. If it's balanced for competitive players, it's balanced for casual. But if it's only balanced for casual gamers, it's not nessisarily balanced for competitive gamers.(As

siege frigs are already pretty slow. The AM idea isn't a bad one as long as the am regen is fast(like cap ship rate, not colony frig rate). Then you'd probly want to sit your ships out one jump away from their target for a few minutes instead of rally point the target from factory. But siege frigs where fine in 1.02..

You know tec is intended to have more hull and less shields, and vasari be in the middle though? :x Though if you change it that's fine, it's your mod after all, i just hope you adjusted how their cap ships level and stuff too then? Plus tec has much better armor tech to better buff their high hulls.

I think the devs said 1.04 is likely coming mid-late next month. Which IMO, is too long, for this bad imbalance between the races stimed from the black market mainly to continue on. This happens to me sometimes if i load the game while it's minimized. Reloading it would always fix it. By the way, "very opaque" would mean "very impenetrable by light." Opaque is the opposite of transparent. Very opaque planets would be working as intended.

NO IT DOESNT NEED SWITCHED BACK. It needs to stick and have colors. I hope you weren't referring to me when you said "Wow less dps/cost, because those are the only two factors in deciding what an effective counter is" No they don't really tank HC's easily. But everything but HC's, yes, they tank pretty good. Enforcers do 25dps against them. Composite damage is 125% ontop of an already high 18-20 dps.

No. It's an improvement. It just needs sticking and colors back. Which are, yes, HUGE HUGE flaws ontop of a big improvement, huge flaws that ruin the improvements. They probably just didn't actually test it online to notice what we did.. I'm sure they're going to fix it. I believe they already said it'd be fixed in the next patch. Anyways, already been brought up. Devs already know about it. Calm down.
