Okay, so when you build a carrier fleet, how many bomber and how many fighters do you build. 50/50? 70% bombers/ 30% fighters? Do you use different strategies with different races? What tech do you research to make fighters and bombers more effective? When building hangers, ratio do you use? 50/50? 70/30?

I do well at the early to middle rounds. It is late in the game when I lose it. I have trouble beating starbases and titan ship. In one game, I was playing against an AI. The AI developed mission tunnel vision. It poured wave after wave of ships into my system. I did the same. I had a fully upgraded Strbase and a huge Vasari Loyalist fleet. The AI was a Vasari Rebel. The AI bring in his Titan and that was it. I lost. Lost my fleet, starbase and system. So
I can't seem to register the game. My game is called Rebellion. That is not an option on the pull down menus. Otherwise, the game is rejection my product key.
So I got the game from Amazon. It is in DVD format. Whenever I start the game nothing happens. When I look at task manager, I see the executible running, but I don't see the game on the screen. How do I fix this?
Simple question. How fast do you play the game? Also, I have yet played online against others, so, how fast are games played on the net.
I read in several web pages that say the Vasari are guerrilla fighters. That they fight dirty. How? What do you do as a Vasari player that results in dirty underhanded tactics.
Okay. I wanted to try TEC. So if you are a fan of the TEC maybe you all can help. I have a couple of questions. 1.) What ships and combo of ships do you focus on? What does you TEC fleet looks like? 2.) Economy. What do you research. In what order? What do you do to get that economy roaring. 3.) What do you do with diplomacy as TEC? If anything? 4.) I keep hearing that TEC is a fast sta
Okay, so I am a bit of a beginner at Diplomacy. I usually just try to win thru brute force. Any ideas, tips, tricks, suggestion as to do the whole Diplomacy thing . . . Also, does diplomacy differs when play different factions? If so, how so?
I have a question about Advent mines. When the AI plays the Advent, their planets are full of mines. How do they do this? The reason I ask is because when I play TEC it seems the only limitation is money. But it seems that Advent mines are limited in numbers. So how do the Advent pack their planets with mines?
What can I do about mines. The game does not provide minesweepers so, what then? I especially hate the Advent mines because those mines move. Regards
My question is what support ships do you get for each race? And how many of those ships do you get?
I played the game a few times. I believe that the first time I played that I put the buildings where I wanted. The last 2 games the buildings place themselves. What can I do to stop the game's auto placement?
Okay so I have several questions around carriers. So is a carrier only strategy a bad idea? When I say carrier only, I really mean carrier intensive with support ships. Which faction has the best carriers? Which faction has the best fighters and bombers. What can you research to make fighters and bombers better?
I was wondering which maps if any have good choke points. Ideally, I would like a map that has many planets before I reach a choke point.
I am using Windows XP with SP3. The old game ran just fine on this system. Note, I was it by a computer virus. Then I reformatted the hard disk to get rid of the virus. It was a difficult virus. So the old SINS game is not on the system. I have bought SINS Trinity. When I put the CD into the computer, the mouse pointer turns into a picture of a cd for a while. Then it stops and nothing happens. When I try to do a DIR in the command
I see that the TEC has ships robotic cruisers and Cielo Command cruiser. How many of these does a fleet need. What about the other races, what are the best number of support ships.
When I try to use the cap ships special abilities, I see a message about a cooldown period. I wanted to know, what I can do to better manage the lack of energy.
Some realism. I would like to see star systems. When I enter phase space is because I am going to another start system. Think Master of Orion 2 and you will know what I mean. The star systems should be heliocentric with several satellite planets revolving around a star. In game progress report. I would be nice to know where I stand compared to the other factions while playing. Think of it like military intelligence. It would be good to know tech level, number of enemy ship
Some realism. I would like to see star systems. When I enter phase space is because I am going to another start system. Think Master of Orion 2 and you will know what I mean. The star systems should be heliocentric with several satellite planets revolving around a star. An option called AUTO SCOUT. Here is how it works. I click on a ship. Any ship. Then that ship goes out and scouts the galaxy. Then one of three things will happen. A.) Either the ship is d
Which faction can wipe out a colony the fastest? How many ships do you need to do this. How what tech do you need to research? Is it possible to take out a planet in a single shot?
Stupid noob question here. Ready? To exploit the Advent ship abilities, I have to stay close to the ship that fires the ability. Right? For example, the Mothership has shield regeneration so I have to stay close to the mother ship in order to get the benefit. What about timing. Does that come into play when playing Advent.
If I read the above correctly, it seems that the TEC are the king of the early game. The Vasari are the average at all stages and the Advent are the king of the late game. What do you think.
Good post. Which combination of special abilities work well together.
Great post. Which combination of abilities work best with the Advent.
So I wanted to master the Advent. I wanted to know, how to combine the capital ships abilities for maximum effect. Also, which ships should I get besides the capital ships. Regards
