So if I want to download Sword of stars gold collection or the new ultimate collection I should use steam until stardock gets them? How is Steam when it comes to customer support?

Are Steam and Direct to drive as good as Stardock when it comes to downloading games from their websites? If they are not then I will wait on Impulse to get them[e digicons]:fuzzy:[/e]
Where can I purchase the Sots ultimate collection (all 3 games in one) with the box, cd and op manual? so far the only places that have the game are Steam, Direct to drive and a few other software download places. I don't mind downloading but I really wanted the instruction manual and the story book?
Hey Sinners does anyone know if the latest release of Sword of the Stars will be sold on Impulse(Both versions Box and download)?
Hey VoodooKing No law enforc ement agency would budget enough money for a battleship[e digicons]8C[/e] but fighters, frigates, corvettes and maybe a destroyer or tw
If I am a policeman what kind of ships do I get to use from fighter up to what?
In X3 are jumpgates the only means to go from one star system to the next or can ships jump without the gate?
In X3 can I chuck the fighter after a while and buy something bigger and meaner like a frigate or cruiser to control? I like fighters and I hope that there are more camera modes then just from the cockpit view because sometimes when not fighting I just like to look at my ship from the outside.
Is it a game where one could through purchase or take over have ships bigger then fighters such as frigates, cruisers or even battleships to control? Is the game play similar to Sins ie set out to expand your empire through diplomacy, trade and or war?
I have Nexus and it was a sad day when I won and had to go back to living a regular life again[e digicons]X([/e] For a long time after Nexus I would use it as a reference stick to compare other games ie graphics, game play, story line and etc. I always hoped that someone would come out with a Nexus two or something[e digicons]:S[/e] </p
Hey Sinners is Sword of the stars game easier to play then say X3 terran conflict or Eve on line as far as controls and do the company that created the game supports their game as well as the mad men that created Sins of a solar empire? And what do you guys think about this up comming mmo Star trek on line?
I have heard the voices of Sword and I agree voidster12 those voices would get on my last nerve!. I don't mind smaller fleets as long as I can control my ships even down to the control of one, but I do like a mix of ships ie frigates up to and including dreadnaughts with a good loadout. So what kind of ships do Sword have for the humans? </p
So both of you are giving a thumbs up to this game then. Terraziel, are Swords cap ships as good looking as some of the cap ships in Sins and move like big ships or are they big ships that move like tiny fighters? Sins has games that can last days, and you stated Swords can take weeks[e digicons]:(O[/e] !
After playing Sins over the course of a few weeks again on a large map, I am now in need for some other game until my Sins energy recharges but I always use Sins as a reference guide when buying other games of space[e digicons]:andrew:[/e] . came across a game called Sword of the stars, never played it but saw some video streams on Youtube, and the game looked decent with ok graphics[e digicons]:borg:[/e] . <span style="fo
Hi fellow Sinners Anybody tested the New X3 Terran conflict game yet? I have never played any of the X3 series but I must say that the graphics That I have seen is superb and the vids on You tube are not bad either, however what about the game play is it like Sins? And I am not a fighter person so can I control anything from frigates up to and including&nbs
In X3: Terran Conflict can I buy and control a capital ship for example a destroyer or something bigger and meaner to keep watch over my interests?
Thanks guys for all of your helpful answers, the X series seems to be a complex game but with some chill time I think that this could be a game that I could get into because I love long indepth games that you can build up your forces slowly and add new tech and software as you go deeper into the game and I simply love being on the outside of a big ship like a heavy cruiser or destroyer and watch the battle from that
Oh 1 more question Are all the X3 games stand alones that can be played by themselves ie. will I need to have X2 in order to play X3?
Thanks for the heads up on X3 games everyone, even though I play Sins alot, now and then I still like to go at another game and thats why I started looking at the X3 series, I guess that I still miss Nexus the Jupiter incident game and it interface and graphics[e digicons]X([/e] Three quick questions <
Hey fellow Siners Has anyone played X3 terran conflict or for that matter any of the X games such as X2 the Reunion 2.0? the reason why I ask is because of the graphics that I saw on YouTube and wondered if this game is similar to Sins in game play ?
I noticed that too about the game, but I do agree with the observations from Mori and Stardaock especially since the phase lanes connects directly with the planets gravity well, your idea would be ideal if you only use phase jumping from star system to star system and Stardock handled that in true science fiction form by using the immense gravity well of the local sun to connect to another star system's sun opposite to the Honor Harrington series, I believe
Hey man I agree whole heartedly, the mad men at Stardock are doing a wonderful job on Sins and all of the expansion packs and I too can't wait for D day to get here so I can have my super bases and all the other goodies too[e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
So I do not have to uninstall the game first from my old computer before downloading it to the new computer? Thanks Stardock for your quick response, the reason why I asked is because I don't want to miss out on any of the new updates and expansion packs [e digicons][/e]
I am buying another computer (going from single core agp to a dual core) and I would like to know if I would need to buy Sins again for the new computer or is it possible to transfer the Sins on my old computer to the new computer and still stay legal in order to continue to receive any future updates and continue to use Impulse and etc. ?
All of your ideas seem very thoughtful and I agree with most of them especially the ones about having planets that are in scale with the sun, for example: As a ship gets nearer to orbit of a planet then more and more of your screen should be taken up from top to bottom and side to side of the planet until the whole screen is fill with the detail of the planet so if you are in orbit over say the ocean then other then a few high clouds most of your screen should be the
