Hey fellow Sinners As a newbe on mods I would like to know what are the steps in downloading mods such as 7 deadly sins and the babylon 5 mods. I had tried one time but did not know what I was doing, once I had went to the download site and downloaded a mod, I thought all that one would have to do was download the mod and it would automatically show up

I just meant that I have never tried to change some of the contents of a game before and so I was concerned that I could screw something up, are there any instructions on what to do after you download the B5 mod or will everything be changed automatically? Also do I just download the latest version of the mod or download the earlier version then download the current?

Hey fellow Sinners, I went on and took the plunge and moved Sins from my old Dell 4600 rigg using XP and put it on the new I5 rigg using Window 7 operating system and so far I am very happy with playing Sins on the new rigg, I have not run into any problems and the game seems even more stable and vibrant then ever before. Hey fellow Sinners, I am building a system (Intel I5 cpu, 4- 6 gigs of ram, Geforce gts 250 vid card and Vista 64 op system) My question is, will Impulse work on my new rigg so I can download Sins and Sword of the Stars and play them on my new rigg using Vista instead of good ol' XP?

Like many other Sinners I too grew up on the original Star trek and loved it ever since, the tos had deep and profound meaning that connected with society and all of the goals and ills if that time period. Hey Angros I was warned that I did not have enough fuel to make it using a node lane and that I would have to plot a normal space course and thats when I ran out of fuel(Travel without a node lane)
Hey you Sword of the stars players I have run into a problem. While playing as humans I sent a small fleet to a nearby planet even though I didn't have enough fuel(Never had a problem like this in Sins) so I had to go the rest of the way through normal space but ran out of petro or whatever before reaching the planet! I am still thinking in the star trek mode Psychoak where a ship shields is everything to a starship in combat except for in the new movie where the ships are built somewhat tough, however in Sots the shields flaring with hits is way cool eye candy[e digicons]B)[/e]

Being new to Sword of the stars there is much to learn How do the shields and deflectors work in Sots and do humans ships have shields and or deflectors screens?
In Sins when a ship is badly damaged, over time it is automatically repaired but in Sword of the stars when a human ship is damaged they don't seem to have this ability, being new to that game (and spoiled on Sins) I was wondering how to repair my ships before they are destroyed because if the node ring is badly damaged then I am screwed? Sword of the stars is a good game and I really enjoy the battles[e
Hey Sinners In the X3 Terran conflict game do the ships show battle damage ie scorch marks or destroyed weapon turrets etc.? I ask this because in Sins when a ship is hit you can see the little flames and in Sword of the stars you can really see battle damage ie destroyed turrets and damaged engines.
I already have the Sword of the stars with none of the expansions and now Impulse has the Sots ultimate for sale and my question is would I need to remove the Sword of the stars that is already on my system so I can download the Sots ultimate ? If I buy Sword of the stars off of Impulse instead of Steam, would I have to be running Impulse when playing Sots? The reason why I asked is because If I buy it off of Steam then I am required to run Steam in order to play the game[e digicons]8(|[/e]
Now that Sword of the Stars Ultimate is now on sale on impulse have any of you sinners bought and played it yet? I am thinking about buying it off of impulse because of some of the wonderful reviews that your guys gave it.
Once purchased from Steam can I download my game onto a disk just in case I want to keep a hardcopy ?
