No I don't mind you asking :-) We've played a lot of online games in our short clan-lifespan and thus we have acquired the attention of a few people who hate to lose. We have some pretty good players and have won our fair share of games - a number of which have comprised individuals who are insulting and rude to each other and us, especially when the game gets tough. We try not to react to such people and thus, when their attempts to anger us fall on deaf ears - they resort to

Yes, you may find its a disgruntled person who you (or we or both of us) defeated in a game. You guys play well...perhaps he is trying to drag your clan's name down along with ours. I'd just like to add that AoH is a very friendly and decent clan with really good people as members and we would never spam. I've made a lot of friends there since I joined and we've had contact with the leader of GE, who I doubt would ever sanction such behavior. Being a clan member has helped me avoid peo
Hi guys, Well AoH is the Aura of Honor, a new Sins clan that is growing rapidly, and we would NEVER sanction such behavior. This individual has nothing to do with us and we are as much a vistim as GE, ICO and everyone else in the lobby trying to chat to one another. I hope this kind of thing can be prevented in future. Keep well.
Hi... Yes I've had the same problem and it does frustrate me a bit, I've lost a number of ships needlessly because of the 'short cut' through pirate territory...though it is quite funny - I'd prefer it was fixed! I'm sometimes busy with somethin very important and don't notice until its too late :-) oh well nvm! Keep well.
Hi everyone... A rather funny thing happened to me last night. I was playing a game on the map 'gateway' (single player game) and all was going well, until I told my fleet to jump to the neighbouring planet. The ships passed the usual jump location just at the border of the gravity well, left the gravity well and started to traverse the void of space in a reincarnation of the Great Trek :-) They did not jump...just kept moving toward the next planet (oviously they didn't get there) I
Another South African...and a surprised one at that :-)
I agree! Planet upgrade first...otherwise you'll lose a lot of money very quickly.
Good one antracer! Hmmm...perhaps he is a Cylon afterall :-)
I agree with you, I think they did (and continue to do) a great job! I'm sure with the patches and eventual expansion, things will get even better and more interesting...
Hi again! I agree that if you nuke the place - its all disaster zone after that :-) But why not add the invade option (but would take time and effort to subdue the enemy army) or bio-termination (bio-weapons) as they did in MOO followed by a clean-up or something? Galciv also had invasion capability with lots of options. I think it could be done, but not much point to flatten the place then try to invade :-) I miss those bio-terminators and mind control in MOO ;)
Hi there! I think it is a clever initiative you are trying to organize here...but quite a big task...phew! I think the idea of choosing (or making / editing) a number of maps for each competitive option i.e. 1v1 2v2 etc is a good idea. Perhaps once the list has been proposed the clans can vote (as u said I think) and the list can be finalized. I like the idea that you are including /inviting all types of clans...that is a good approach and should attract a large numbe
Hi there... I agree it is annoying at times, but the Devs are fixing the problem in v1.1 as mentioned above and they've done a great job on the rest of the game so I doubt you wasted your money. I've found that joining a clan or an organized group of people has helped to avert the problems faced with 'strangers' crashing out or whatever. The group can then wait for you or reload with little effort, and you quickly learn what the problem is in such cases e.g. whose pc is acting up or wha
Hi guys... A very interesting group of posts :-) Well, the idea of invasion never seemed to be a problem in other games like Master of Orion, Galactic Civilizations etc. In galciv, your troops went in and killed off the enemy forces and you took over, and that was quite fun. In MOO you could mind control the populace - Advent possibilities come to mind! :-) I understand the dilemma of different races etc, but every race produces refined resources and materials what are universa
Hi there! The Aura of Honour clan is trying to find members from the Australian time zone to play with people from Japan...perhaps you'd like to take a look at our site. It is www.auraofhonor.com I wish you all the best!
I apologise for the repeated post, my explorer did something a little weird just now...and I thought the post had not submitted, also...the site name listed in my first post is misspelled...the second and third (oh dear :-( ) posts are correct. Again...profuse apologies! Be well.
Hi there... You may wish to consider the Aura of Honor...if you'd like to see our forums you can visit www.auraofhonor.com. We are a mature clan with a specific charter (code of behavior) that our members are required to agree to, as such we are looking for players with good sportsmanship and who can have as much fun as possible...see our site for more details :-) Oh yes...and we are still recruiting! I hope you find a clan that suits you well... Keep well!

I agree that it would be better to be able to specifically set your start location before the game. The map option is there, but it is a lot more effort :-) Lets hope one of the devs realizes and does something about it!
Thanks guys...your opinions and views have been very interesting. I'm particularly interested that the AI matches didn't register as a win for some of you, it did for me when I played with a friend against AI's. Perhaps its a bug or something :-) Thanks mrlarone and Cyker...I think I will adopt similar views to you guys :-) Hope to see you online.
Hi everyone, I have wondered for a while now whether or not the player stats i.e. games / wins / losses function is useful in its current state when playing ICO. There may be other threads to this effect, and if so, then I'm sorry for repeating it! I do however feel that it is an issue that could possibly be recosidered. My reasons for saying this are that it is easy to increase your win / loss ratio by simply setting yourself and another player or players or the AI as all o
Hello, What kind of people are you lookign for? I'm relatively new at Sins, and I prefer allied games to fighting everyone else (skirmish). So if you'd like to organise an allied game then I'd enjoy that, but I'm still learning the game...so don't want to be told I'm a n00b or my strategies are 'gay'! :-) What time zone are you in by the way...I'm in GMT +2, so timing could be an issue... Maybe cya online...:-)
Firstly, thank you for a wonderful game...I have been a loyal Galciv player for years and now I'm just thrilled with this game! The most problematic issue for me (in multiplayer) has been the inability to place the players' start locations before the game begins. My friend (also loves the game) and I tried to play a team game against the AI, but we kept on ending up in different star systems and when we finally (after several restarts) were in the same system, the enemy teams (2 v 2 v 2
