Uhhhh what to do what to do....

Simply BLEW me AWAY, I have never experienced such an epic intro before, well done!
NO , they will be ready when they are ready, rushing will do NO good for the game, if you want to play the other factions go play trinity.
Darn it... when are they going to unlock the other races?
When they are ready to. Seriously stop rushing the devs for the other races and focus and balancing out the TEC factions, and before anyone accuses my of being a TEC fan, my favorite race to play is the Vasari, however I would rather the devs take all the time they need to iron out all the bugs for each faction separately rather than try to do all three or even
To ensure a faction you want to ally with stays allied you need envoys at five or six of their planets. :) Once you do that you have a friend for life, even if you reject all their missions ;)
I saw a brilliant post in which it was stated that the Vasari WOMEN were chasing the men, and they were fleeing from them. ;)
How about an on/off switch, or limits like 1, 4, 6, unlimited.... Also want a mine on/off switch too ;)
In regards to allies firing novaliths on allied planets its not an issue with the ai, its the nature of the weapon itself, and its most noticeable when the distances the missile itself has to travel is huge. I never have this issue in single star systems. For example the ai keeps firing the missiles at an enemy planet that you happen to take over, well those missiles that are on the way are going to impact your planets even if the ai know you have it. And sometimes missile times take

I think the cautious ai= steamroller, waits until most the odds are in its after before launching a series of assaults, stops to consolidate its gains then repeat, or maybe fall back to defend its previous conquests.
Quoting unic, reply 3 first of all: not every race has shields second: if the ai learns to shoot all novalits to the same planet you still have a problem. You just said two things that should never be in the same sentence. AI and learns.
I have seen the Ai appear to copy my tactics, once novalith spam started I bui
No its not, its easy to counter with the TEC SB killers.(12 can take down a fully upgraded SB in a very short time, especially with support) Furthermore it fits the tec loyalist lore to a "T" And also in regard to that titan there can only be one, so attack from another direction.
The fact that I haven't entered the beta aside (stupid bank account doesn't like paypal), unless balance and flow got drastically changed, games shouldn't have hours of back-and-forth like that.
Sins is meant to be like that, my shortest games take six to nine hours while a typical one takes 24 hours from beginning to end. Either way the game is supposed to be a time consumer, if it were any different it
At slow victory pace its only 30 minutes, I think it needs to be an hour at least for normal victory, longer for slow victory and then maybe 30 to 20 minutes for fast victory. The only thing that needs to be determined is how slow it should be for the slowest victory speed setting. Maybe 1 hour and 30 minutes?
The premade maps bore because they are not LARGE enough, the only "map" I like to play and fits my play style is the huge multi star map with over 150 planets. I like long games with epic space so we can all build up then have wars worthy of the big screen. The only premade map I like is whirlwind since there is enough space to make a large empire and fortify it, while having boarders close enough for interesting "mental dialogue."
I want this, it would be cool to try and survive against someone who has won the scientific victory.
Umm yes they do, you need to have the tech researched and the planet under your control, and then once the cannon is fully repaired and researched it becomes functional. :)
Why are people so AFRIAD of the tians? Bring on! I have been able to pwn these things with my normal fleet of capital ships and frigates. I will be VERY disappointed if the titans get nerfed, these are the end all units, I don't want a glorified capital ship....
Well you can counter that with the Auxiliary government upgrade on the star base. I personally would like a superweapon on and off option.
I would rather have a pewter Vulkoras Desolator. :p
Quoting Teun-A-Roonius, reply 17 Quoting Ravagus, reply 16I want a vasari world eater titan to be named The Ravagus. At the moment the tech tree shows 'eating' planets is not going to be an ability of the titan itself... Darn! I still want a Titan named after me.
Dude you can name your titan whatever you want.... I have one called Unohana Retsu...
I have noticed this happens most frequently when playing as the TEC rebel faction, just figured I would throw that out there.
But if you put it too high then it becomes meaningless.
After researching the Pirtate Mercenaries tech the game will become laggy with moments of smooth running punctuated with stutters and pauses. This most happens with the TEC rebel faction. Though recently I had a game played as rebels where it became laggy after a certain period of time as well, even though I was in the beginning stages and ship numbers were low.(Again playing as tec rebels)
I have this issue too, best defense for now would be to build a star base to defend both that planet and its star, and then go kill off the other factions. BTW that titan guarding the planet looks like a giant StarViper with a stick....
