Quoting Polistes, reply 2 I think the titans should also severely damage near by ships when destroyed as well, a fitting end for them. Oh man, this. Just imagine the energy needed to operate one of these ships: it's got an incredible amount of mass (from the looks of it, it's heavier than an Argonev Starbase), and it manages to propel that mass at amazing speeds; it's almost as maneuverab
Polistes
I think making frigate and cruiser types as a prereq for the titan is silly, those ships have no relation to the titan.
Just an issue I noticed while playing the TEC rebels, after researching the tech that causes the pirates to begin to support you with ships my game became laggy, to the point that I had to quit the game. Just figured I would toss this out there.

Yes I have this issue too and it needs fixing Most of the Ais only get around five planets or so, and there ships get stuck in the feedback loop as I called it.
I personally think the main issue is the Titan is TO CHEAP. This is supposed to be the end all of units and its so easily affordable? I say raise the prices in all categories and delay its tech level and you got it. Also lower level titans are not as intimidating as they appear, in fact I had to retreat from a battle between my titan and a mid level star base because the star base was owning. (Nothing wrong with that) As for titan armor and damage I think they are fine as they are. :)
Of course I have to work tomorrow, when else do you stream? Don't underestimate thew advantage of Terran planets, they gives lots of money which you can use to buy crystal off the market.... And a Polistes tip I always build up the emergency shelters first, this way you get more time to respond if they attack a planet while you are distracted...
Nice registered there as well but I cant chat XD anyways as of RIGHT NOW build broadcast centers man! And kill pink for the win! BTW the definition you were looking for was vestigial. And the stream quit for some reason :(
LOL same boat ordered when I first heard about rebellion then they lost my valid credit card info :D
My order got canceled so I had to reorder cause they did not have valid credit card info...... weird.
Single player for the win! I never ever play multiplayer. Because I simply cannot play the way I want to against other people. As for a super weapon cap I agree, I have had games where the AI spammed them, and holding onto a planet is tricky without the starbase enforced loyalty upgrade.

Because sins does not have things like "resources", a trade port anywhere is still a trade port...would adding things like "resources" make sins more interesting? Probably....though how it would be implemented I'm not so sure... I would point out that refineries are "limited"
I know how the devs can improve multiplayer.... Get rid of it all together.
I am unsure if I like trade being nerfed, mainly due to the fact empires have risen, and fallen due to trade, it should be a strategic option and worth the investment. For example lets say I get really valuable resource on a planet, Spice for example, the trade bonuses should be rather huge due to its qualities (Think Dune) I can understand a slight nerf to trade ports that have no special resources to trade,(Or on a backwater planet with nothing of value) but over all shoul
Dont forget that not everyone plays multiplayer... I for one do not.
Their enemy is their women, not once in the game had we heard from a female of their species, I guess they got tired of their men running around playing war all the time!
Oh let me have my fun :p
I call copyright infringement! It looks like Tyber Zann's Aggressor class destroyer. [e digicons]}:)[/e]
None of those maps have any interesting triggers or victory conditions though, for example the guardians at the gates or something similar there were none and the planets were average, nothing special....
When the Americans rebelled they had to fight the British empire with whatever resources and forces that were willing to help their cause. In sins rebellion it should be like that, if you research a tech that causes you to rebel your empire that you had founded should then turn against you with the exception of a few planets and ships. You then have to fight an uphill battle against your former empire plus whom ever else is out there. For example lets say you have 50 planets under you
Well so who do you fight against then, it seems silly that your entire empire(you) can choose to rebel. Obviously some should remain loyal to the main faction. The point of a rebellion is to fight for your freedom, if you have a near galaxy wide empire and then decide to rebel that entire empire should not suddenly just switch sides to the rebels.
Will rebel factions start the game like everyone else or will they each break off of their respective empires after a certain period of time? To me I would prefer if the rebel sides started later in the game after you have an empire, since they should naturally have to fight to break away from their parent faction rather than start "free"
Well due to the Advent's subtle sexual innuendo when it comes to certain ships and names the TEC has decided to create their titan in the form of a giant phallus and naming it "The Titan" to counter the new advent tactic and hopefully awe them as well :p Currently in the Advent ther

I don't think Titans be this way, its likely they will be the sort of game ending unit Sins has never had. If the Devs go in this direction then I doubt Starbases will get much of an upgrade. Basically building a Titan should be like bu
Quoting BlackHawk141, reply 1 I don't think they should build titan class ships, it will ruin the game especially multiplayer games. Single player maybe fine, but multiplayer games is a no-no. Screw multiplayer . I don't want my singleplayer experience gimped because of the whining of the MP crowd.
