it means that you can always be sure that they usually send their entire fleet, you can ravage their other planets at will and they dont stand a chance.

the ai dosnt attack in force unl;ess it a) has no choice b)it has you so massivly outgunned that you dont stand a chance, then when you bring in enough ships to even the odds it runs. Seriously, one time the ai was just sending ships and retreating, for half an hour until i (i was their ally) took the planet.

so hows progress on the mod, great job on what you have been doing so far. heres an idea for the covies, the different classes of ships are factory built as one type, and you upgrade them from there, whether to bomb planets or attack other frigates/capitol ships.

exactly, without fighters the big ships are screwed, without capitols then fighters are screwed.

good idea, but badley flawed, sure if there are multiple stare but a single star can become very croweded even 100+ planets fills up fast, and if say 3 allies are next to each other, one cannot grow as easily as he might have been able to otherwise. So good idea, wouldnt want to do it with more than 2 ppl though.

fighters are very important in almost any space battle, think of it when a squad of bombers are in position its all well and good but the easiest way to destroy or protect those bombers is not a massive ship with massive cannons of turbolasers its the little ships that do that job. If you remember an a-wing set up a super star destroyer do be destroyed at the end of episode 6 by crashig into the command centre.

i think a single player is a great idea, for one i reken it helps new players understand the game. Its very off putting just having to start with a very vague tutorial and then pushed into the real thing with no help from there. Also i find a campaign help players get into the game and really understand what each race is actually fighting for.
