Flux, instead of a SPC a SPLC - super pulse laser cannon. It fills the same roles the SMAC does(hanger/point defense/repair) and has same properties in terms of resourses. All_Under_Heaven, :CONGRAT: Maico, if the 500-750 planet map is not lagtastic, I will make it. The Covenant ship boost is kinda unrealistic and unfair considering the Covenant ships were already faster and they could go faster just the Covenant never pushed their ships to full ponential.
I am somewhat familiar with manipulating the tech tree so when you finish the models get a hold of me and I'll get it on the tree.

The SMACs don't have to take up massive slots just massive resourses. As stated earlier the SMAC is around the size of 4-5 frigates so it should be expensive. And you were right the tactical disadvantage of not having shields does balance it out. Also Imchicken's idea saves time because we won't have to bicker about hangers and repair platforms. I like Imchicken's idea too. It wouldn't be that difficult either. And it can be done.
Get high leveled cap ships and support cruisers to back them. While your cap ships are soaking damage bring in your frigates and squadrons. Make sure you've researched ;)

Its completly ridiculous. I can't even fill my truck up all the way because the pumps don't go over $75 worth of gas. Gas prices will go down some after November but not all the way to good ol' day prices, jeez I remember my parents complaining about $1.50 a gallon, lol.

Im guessing you upgraded the Kol's gauss cannon to level two. The evacuator's squadron probably got to you. I have to agree that turrets are uneffective. Im also assuming you had little to no research done and that the enemy had some too.
