@Imchicken What your saying with the flood thing is the best of both worlds or in this case factions? The ark and halo extras have already been gone over on page 13 or 14 and then again on 17 or 18. I'm curious on how to make names longer too. I tried to do the same thing when I realized you can change names. We REALLY need to get that new thread up!

ya, the models were great, at least some of them. I was getting what has been dubbed the black ship syndrome with some of the ships and all of the new structures and its really getting me POed X-( . Love the sound effects though :D . I'm getting some bugs: some ships refuse to auto-attack, with auto-attack on and the TIE's are acting funky. Its perty fun, the only thing that pulled me away to write this was a mini-dump.

ya, I didn't like how the Empire was overpowered nor did I like the massive gravity wells(it took my constructors 5 minutes to get from the newly built factory to the asteroids!).

I did the same thing(combining SinsPlus and bailknight's 1.2) only I greatly reduced hull and shield points for all ships. It was insanly exciting :D

Well, if we're going to keep it as canon as possible, we won't be able to see the MAC because the round fires a fourth the speed of light, correct me if I'm wrong. The trail should be visible for a second or two so thats what we should worry about.

(:( All_Under_Heaven, I tried to get your CCS model in-game. Its either not working, or I suck. I'm leaning towards the second. I really don't know what kind of files it'll take, but I'm guessing its the file type thats holding me up if its not my modding skills. If anyone can find any quick solutions for my perdicament by Friday, that would be much appreciated on my part. Though I am busy at SIHS so don't expect much outta me.

whoops :LOL: The Separitists could be a seperate fation. Slightly different ships with slightly differnent abilities then the Loyalists. The pirates could either be the rebels that were fought in [I]The Fall of Reach[/I] or the Heretics.

The Halo superweapon idea could work as such: public superweapon: the ark/the halos. When A halo is set off, it should eliminate everything in a small section of the map enemy or ally. The Halo ring has to be controlled for a set amount of time before it fires. The ark is a bit trickier. First you have to find the derelict key ship, then the portal. Once the portal to the ark is opened, the ark is open to the public. And like the Halo rings, the Ark has to be controlled for a set amount of time.

Just make the refit weaker in armor and hull points than the normal Halcyon, but the refit can put out more damage. You don't have to make the hull points godly, just enough that it stands out if that makes any sense. Anyways a Halcyon spam would be effective against the Covenant's faster, well armored, dangerously armed ships, unless its 10:1 which would be unrealistic. And if the refit is a cap ship, couldn't the Covenant answer back with Assault Carriers? Fleet logistics and resources needed,
