Okay, if you're about an hour into the match, you could easily be running out of RAM. There's two possible problems I can think of (could happen together, or independently): 1) How much RAM do you have? If it's less than 3 GB, you could simply be running out. Windows might be crashing then. 2) I know you said it
Frogboy for the win. Thanks for clearing that up.
I just bought this game because of the Demigod coupon. I'd say the worst thing about it (aside from the learning curve) is that it's going to steal all of my time, so I won't be playing Demigod enough to get the next coupon. Curse you, Stardock! [e digicons]XO[/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]8(|[/e] [e digicons]x_x[/e] Edit: Err, I dunno why the 3rd emoticon doesn't work. I picked it from the grid. Oh well. Btw, I d
RAM used to cause me problems. It's cheap to upgrade now, so you may want to consider that. Also, what video settings are you running at? My laptop (with integrated graphics [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] ) can handle most games fairly well, but only with the video settings turned all the way down. Also, if you're having trouble, eliminating the asteroid fields and dust clouds helped my computer quite a bit.
Are you intentionally trolling? It certainly seems that way. You've been around long enough that I can't imagine that you just learned these things. Also, I'd be surprised if you didn't know Brad's official position on the subject. I think I'm perplexed more than anything.
They should be able to. If you have proof of purchase (screen shots, transaction numbers, etc) available for them, it'll probably make the process much easier. I've usually gotten responses from them in less than 24 hours - though I can't make guarantees on their behalf.
I agree with the whole Popularity thing being annoying. A 5 star system would help (and shouldn't be too hard). I would also like them to add the MetaCritic or GameRankings score. Or, if those aren't available, some other ranking site. Even IGN, GameSpot, 1UP, etc would give you at least an idea of the game's quality. This could even be in addition to the Popularity score. I truly hope Stardock fixes this because it's one of the few advantages that Stea

Okay, first off, this is not a note against Stardock or Impulse. I happen to like them both quite a bit. What I'm annoyed at is the current "Sales" by Activision which are showing up on Impulse in the "On Sale" feature area: Prototype and CoD4: Modern Warfare. It certainly appears that Activision pulled a rather underhanded move by discounting the two games by a minimal amount of money, so that they would both appear in the highly-visible and frequently visited On Sale sec
Okay, I looked into stars, since most people were focusing on planets. Mostly, I just went deeper into the Wikipedia articles, but I did run across some things I found interesting. Btw, I'm ignoring "Duh" types (class G -like the Sun, red giant, white dwarf, binary, etc) As a general note, here are the colors that make sense scientifically: blue, blue white, white, yellowish white, white, yellow, yellow orange, orange, orange red, red Small stars <
On the system build tha Yargnit proposed: Personally, I'd trade out the i7 for almost any other CPU (AMD Quad/Trip core, Intel Quad core). It'll save you money on the processor AND about $100 on the motherboard . With that, you can spend another $50 and get the 9800 GTX+, which is a much nicer video card for not much more. You might even have enough for a GTX200 series, but that's not necessary. The rest of the build is good. Not quite
I wouldn't think it'd be a problem. Unless, somehow by "1 ISP" you mean you have the same IP address, but I doubt that's possible. My friends and I have played over ICO while a few of us were in the same house before (laptops). You should be fine. Edit: I think this is the first time I've beaten Annatar to answering a question. I feel proud... and yet, so very ashamed.

Now, I may have to check this thing out.
The devs have said many times that they will not release stand-alone patches beyond v1.05. They've also pointed out that the box says "Games for Windows", so I kinda doubt they'll do much to make it work on Linux. GGLucas's suggestion is probably your best bet.

I highly doubt Stardock will be relasing its games over Steam anytime soon. They own and developed Impulse, so they'll likely keep using it. It would be like expecting Valve to release Half Life over Impulse. Honestly, the only reason I have Steam on my computer is because I bought The Orange Box. I'm actually really annoyed that I had to install Steam (and really annoyed that I have to keep it running) to play my games. At least Stardock games need not have Im
