In the MainInfoCardIcon file, there are all ten capital-level-graphics, from the bars and stars to the crown and star, so I'd suppose you'd have to draw new pictures if you were to get the rest of it working...

How about launching the strike craft from a deployed Mine-Dispenser. When you destroy the Mine Dispenser, you will have broken the link to the strikecraft, and if you set their hull degredation to Zero, they will stay permanently. The RaceLogos or the PlayerPortrait Files... they are TGA files, convert them to a format you can edit, or edit them directly with a TGA based paint program, and then cut and paste away, but remember to keep them all lined up, as that's where the program knows to find them...

Starcraft, yes... little armored soldiers that show a graphic of where they took too much damage... To make SINS into a "BaseBuilding" game, we would have to make the logistics points infinite, but do something about having too much defense. Is it possible to make it so that you can build anything you want at a planet, AND make it so that you can't make ..UBER defenses??? (without severely limiting the Military Logistics points) There must be another factor in

Dawn of Victory's mines are awesome in the video Are DoV's mines of the Proximity variety??? (it looked like it, and they also looked like they could be detonated on command) I made a mesh of a mine that looks nice, but needs to have more polys to make it smooth (and I can't figure out how to convert it to Sins yet) There should be Ancient Minefields, located in the space-junk sectors, or any of the debris fields...

Sorry about that particular file suggestion, I'm sure XSI would be better, or any number of other things... (Just installed .NET 2.0, so I will retry XSI) I seem to make Mesh Maker crash (sometimes) when trying to delete polygons, so saving OFTEN might be a good idea... If anyone knows of better programs for 3D (Autodesk works fine (It's the same format as MeshMaker), I just can't seem to get the file into anything that SINS will recognize), please tell me :)

C&C, Dune2, that one like it with the space bugs (star-something) All of them had the enemy bases already built from the start, and the emenies didn't build bigger bases, this was the flaw of the game, but it made for some interesting opportunities for modification, like copying the fleet data from the enemy base and giving yourself a full base to start with... Here's a site (I found a minute ago) that has a mesh editor AND a separate Texture Editor program, It looks to have all the right features, haven't tried it yet, but already downloaded... Isn't there a set of "ResearchButtons" files located in.... ...the Window folder, (I can't remember off hand) [U]Implementing[/U] the button is in the "PlayerTech" file You could get a file viewing program (one that recognizes TGA and DDS, etc, formats, and when you look through all of them, write on a notepad all the ones that interest you :) :D There should also be a file in the "Window" folder that points to the specific place in the ResearchButtons files..

When attacking the Vasari late in the game, send a task-force to all their planets at once and knock out their Phase Gates, they like to mass their ships in one Uber-fleet to crush attacks on any of their planets... It helps if they are your ally too, then you can knock out their entire infrastructure before they can do too much damage... OOPS, that was just strategy, Ok, here goes, add some levels to the Shields/Armor/Weapons research :)

Yes, you will need a ZPM attached to 6 Naquada generators forming a ring ossilator... Seriously though, you could attach to each planet an indestructible base that has an ability with as many levels as you need for the military population... You could then convert the AntiMatter from the base into resources, or do whatever else your military population does... Ok, maybe it won't give you fleet population, but it could be used to do all sorts of other things...
